Man the best part is when Buffer announces Floyd the winner, its all gonna sound like a plague of Locusts in the ears to all the Floyd haters
This is truly laughable, JT. You really don't believe what you're saying, do you? Mayweather is moving up for this fight and Castillo and Judah (more so Castillo) proved that he's beatable. You can't honestly tell me that you think that DLH lost both fights to Mosley. DLH has been dealt a couple of crap decisions along the way.
Mayweather isn't "far more superior", well, in his mind he is and to the snake-oil buyers that he's sold to, but this is the fight that separates the men from the boys.
Mayweather is in with the best he's ever been in with. DLH has already put on a great effort against
Hopkins - a man who's defensive skills Mayweather couldn't muster on his best day. I'm going to enjoy Mayweather getting a proper beat-down from DLH, and it's all going to happen on May 5th. The only sound you're going to hear after Oscar whips that a** is 50 cent pulling out his glock and firing it at DLH's corner.
Floyd is an absolute defensive elite.... I suggest you watch more of his fights if you cant see that... For the 99% that we agree, we are continents apart on this one... Floyd is the best pure Boxer in the game bar none, NO ONE is on par with his pure technical skill and polished proper fundamentals...
Again you preface your posts earlier with dislike for Floyd the everyday man, and surely that is blinding you to see Floyd the fighter.. There is no argueing his skill, he is all world
My dislike for Floyd as a man is pretty evident, but I can't take anything away from him as a gifted athlete an amazing boxer. I've followed Mayweather closely for a long time and have watched the majority of his fights. However clouded my judgment may be by my dislike for Mayweather, (and I'm not a hater - just don't care for him and think he has no character) I realize what gifts he brings to the table. That being said, I still think that he's facing the best opponent he's ever faced in DLH.
To be a realist, the fight breaks down in one or two ways:
1- Mayweather boxes his way to a 12 round decision
2- DLH gets to Floyd, hurts him and stops him
Which is the more likely out of the 2? I'd be lying if I said the first is not likely, but Floyd is going to have his hands FULL in this bout. I'd also be lying if I didn't say that the 2nd option isn't probable.
At this stage of the game, DLH has been in with the much better opposition. With that experience, along with the fact that he's a fairly young and far from over-spent 34 yrd. old boxer just doesn't bode right for Floyd. DLH has all the tools to dish out a beating to Floyd and I'm sure he won't be tentative in this fight. Far more lies on the line for DLH than Mayweather and it would be foolish to dismiss DLH as has-been who never got the job done against the best opposition. Can't take anything away from a motivated Mexican boxer with his back up against the wall knowing what is at stake in this bout.
Still sticking with DLH, JT. And with all due respect, we respectfully have to disagree on this one.
