I used to hate BB until I saw him in a post fight interview and he's actaully a fairly likeable and classy/modest individual.

But what a couple of tubbalards, eh?!!!

When they went down it literally looked like two people in those inflatable sumo suits!

I couldn't stop laughing...but I was impressed w/ BB getting the sub....That ring had to be getting close to its max weight

also, the fact that a "boxer" got the win via sub just goes to show you how easy it is to learn the ground game.

the counter to a kimura is to turn into it...so its a pretty easy sub on a guy that is so fat he can't roll over.

maybe not too easy to learn. BB has been fighting in mma since 2003. His first fight was a loss to a 155lb fighter, Genki Sudo.
However, he then took a year off and has come back with an impressive 10-3-1 mma record.

Whats wacky is that, without double checking cuz i'm too drunk and lazy, the majority of BB's wins have come by submission, including one which was essentially just his smothering his opponent. What I like about BB is that he's essentially a freakshow type fighter who has become dedicated to truly learning the sport and developing themselves into a real MMAist. Even Sapp is kind of doing the same thing, just to a lesser extent.

EDIT:

DEAR GOD...just watched the fight. I don't know what impressed me more, Butterbeans slick reversal of the takedown (all relative of course) or the fact that seconds later, he could have sunk in that kimura if their arms weren't bigger than my waist.

Quality videos. Have you ever been to a nighclub and they have that inflatable sumo wrestling? Watching the first video was like watching one of those.
