I hate these kind of topics BUT we can't ignore them as they are part of the sport... OK here goes...

Off the top of my head the more known names that come to mind are: Alan Minter, Lupe Pintor, Barry McGuigan, Marlon Starling, Max Baer, Primo Carnera, Gabriel Ruelas, SRR, Fernando Montiel, Joe Bugner have all been in fatal fights.
Also Jesus Chavez and Ricky Quiles.

Also Ultimino Ramos has fataly been in 2 bouts where his opponents passed away.

even with all the "Blown up violence and falsified facts" Boxing still has far less deaths and injuries than the big contact sports.....
It feels good to be back home.

I think Max Baer might of bludgeoned 2 guys to death in a Boxing ring
That is correct. Also a Cnadain beat two guys in a row in the 70's or 80's and they both died...I think.

Might be wrong but I'm sure it was just one in the of his opponents who died in the ring there and then. The other died in his next fight a few weeks later or something and was killed by a simple jab but they thought the damage was already there from the Baer fight. Like I said could be wrong

That just reminded me what my second best boxing movie was I might dig that out in a bit

That's pretty sad to want to see footage where you know it's gonna end fatally.
But hey, I guess that's human nature.
    Sad though.

Movies are fiction..How can you justly relate a film to actual footage of a human's fatality?

Max Baer as far as I know. I know a bunch of guys who have killed one, but very rarely has a guy killed more than one guy in the ring.

Sugar Ray Robinson killed Jimmy Doyle, I remember SRR was saying that he had a nightmare before the fight that he killed Doyle in the ring, and when he woke up he refused to fight. They brought a bunch of people in to talk to him including a priest, and convinced him to fight. Then boom his nightmare comes true and Doyle dies.

Max Baer killed one man in the ring. Another man died 8 weeks later. The refs were mostly to blame back then.
