If you dont think ice can be sharp run a 5 inch thick sharped edge around your neck. The shear size of the iceberg would give the side of it an equally as tough resistance as metal. Metal and ice may have different melting points but at freezing point a huge chunk of ice and be almost as tough as a piece of metal. From a physics standpoint, A very heavyship slamming into a very heavy object at a significant speed = a massive amount of kinetic energy exchanged which would be sufficient to rip a whole thru a side of metal. Also a key design flaw of the ship itself is that it didn't have cielings to its flood chambers. if they would've included a two inch think steel ceiling to each floor chamber it wouldn't of sank.

yeah i saw that. when i first started watching south park i thought it was just the most over the top thing in the world now when i watch it i pick up on a bunch of political things they throw in there. Like the sensitivity episode where they take the kids to a museum of stereotypes and say that you should accept people for who they are then when they go outside they harrass a smoker.

South Park is so much more intelligent than lots of people give it credit for. Some people consider it toilet humour with no meaning, but they couldn't be further from the truth. Almost every episode during the last few series' has had an underlying message hidden behind the brilliant comedy. In terms of satire, South Park is one of the best shows you will find on TV in my opinion.

heck yes my good man. good shout. not only is south park fookin hilarious, but it also contains loads of little political snipits. i liked the de vinci code piss take episode they had recently about the easter conspiracy. quality stuff.

and with the whole 9/11 conspiracy. it's all a bit too much like a tom clancy book for my liking. if the US wanted a reason to go to war in the middle east again then they would come up with something a lot less disasterous on their own behalf. but now the moon landing thing.... thats a different story

When the voice said The Titanic had a replica built at the same time i was shouting at the screen ' their called sister ships you stupid cunt '' then up came his reenactment and i realised he was Mel Brooking our azz.

I live in Ireland but we've got all the UK channels on Sky... I think I remember seeing 'Conspiracy Files'... it was on after 'Top Gear' on Sunday's, right? If that is the program you mean, I saw it and loved it.
Remember the presenter going to a 9/11 conspiracy theorist gathering and as he left, he said something along these lines to the camera; "One thing I have noticed with conspiracy theorists is that they all have a product to sell at these little events... DVD's, CD's, books, clothing etc... makes you think, doesn't it?"
Haha, my conspiracy theory is that these theorists are all in it together to make a quick buck and ride the wave of unpopularity that is currently breaking on the US goverment.

The furthest scattering of debris was proved to be less than a mile a way !!

The whole basis of conspiracy theory was that the airliner had in fact been shotdown because Debris was found over 7 miles away !!

Actually from the crashsite it was 7 miles away by road because its pretty hard to drive a car across a lake in the Late Summer without some serious adaptation that'll send your insurance through the roof or some devine intervention !!

We have some stupid cunt to thank for managing to enter the data on his SatNav correctly somebody who never ever visited the crashsite .

I'm not for or against the conspiracy.
But you can't use that as an argument.
Because the US government has planned attacks on their own nation in the past. Officially documented. The government doesn't even deny these. (Wikipedia "Operation Northwoods")
So it's not inconceivable for them to attack their own nation as pretext for war.
I'm not saying that's what they did with 9/11 though. Just saying you can't use that as an argument against it. It happens.
