Well I recon ODh had it by a point but then again I do score some rounds even as many who score dont.
In my reckoning you have to do alot more than Floyd did to take a championship away from a champ especially when you go backwards for over half the fight.
I give it to Foyd though,he has bigger balls than I ever thought he had.
If it was a fifteen rounder he would have stopped ODh.
Close one 4 sure,he didnt 'take' that belt though ,no way.

    I can explain it.
But I cant understand it for you.

I kinda agree with you. But Oscar didn't do enough to keep his belt IMO. He waited until Floyd got to the ropes and shoeshined him with flurries. He didn't control the action, he didn't fight AT ALL in the middle of the ring, he didn't jab. IMO, he fought exactly like Diego Corrales except he did more when he got Floyd on the ropes. He followed Floyd around the ring not jabbing or doing anything and flurried on the ropes. When Floyd landed punches on ODLH, you clearly saw them. Oscar just tried to flurry on the ropes and steal rounds with some flurries in the last 10 seconds. Basically, he fought when Floyd allowed him to fight.

Floyd won, but it wasn't a really impressive win, he actually did run alot.

yep oscar was trying to conserve some gas hopefully to prove he can still be strong enough to last till the very last round. Turned out he did last, but still he faded, enough for floyd to pile up points on the last three rounds.

Yeah Tough call, Although Floyd won the first,
I didnt see m/any major shots off Floyd in the first half of the fight and I didnt see m/any from Oscar in last 6 rounds but I did see Oscar moving forwards for the first half and some of the second with Floyd not catching him hard at all while being on the back foot.
Better fight than I thought it would be!
I think there would be fairness at play if it was a draw.

there might be a rematch, but i won't change my prediction, it's still PBF UD. The difference though, this time oscar's performance will degrade even more. i believe at this stage of his career this is the best he can do to someone like floyd. His mind would like to argue that, but his stamina/body won't agree no matter what..

I don't understand why both fighters would worry about conserving themselves for a decision! It seems to be how ya fight anymore but if you think about it,isn't the reason you fight is to wipp your opponents a.ss!
I don't care if you knock you're opponent out or not but you're gettin payed millions why not come out and fight to you're potential?leaving it up to judges is dumb,to much corruption in Boxing!

That was a good fight, Floyd is so damn slippery, even ODLH couldnt get him, all you people that think he won are smoking crack, you must count glancing blows as scoring shots...Floyd shut him down most of the fight and De La Hoyas supposed power couldnt do jack to Floyd. People will find a way to hate on Floyd , but he put on a clinic, and that entrance was great.

The funniest part of the fight was when Roger was working the corner telling Floyd to jack him up...I could give that advice...wth was that..just jack him up was his advice...lol

I like both fighters as technical fighters. Oscar had this fight. He just didn't have the stamina or strategy to pull it off. Every time he pushed mayweather back on the ropes and swarmed him,he had some success. But then he decides to stop doing this and tries to outbox mayweather in the middle of the ring. Wrong strategy. Oscar tried to lean in most of the night without throwing punches. I've said all along, the way to beat mayweather is to do what glencoffe johnson did to roy jones, swarm and stick like glue for the full 36 minutes of the fight. Oscard did at times, but they were few and far between.
