To tell u the truth i saw Spinks winning that fight!
I think he out worked and out boxed Taylor although almost nothing landed
Its still better than just landing 2 punches per round.

It was such a terrible fight.... but it almost could have gone to Spinks... This really is terrible for Taylor imo, he just isn't going to be any dominant figure period.. He would lose to most any good middleweight/even Jr middle's ever.

yeah, delahoya, shane, pavlik, sturm, all of them would give him trouble..but maybe it was just spinks...those other guys would be there to be hit so maybe he'd fight more..but tonight he wasn't that Aggresive personally i think he's dumb..maybe he was afraid to be hit by spink's awesome power, seeing as how spinks dropped the ultimate man with the chin of granite Judah....

i really didn't care who won, just as long as it wasn't spinks ..lampley was really licking his balls about this defence..but he's running and not even throwing counters...he just runs..

anyhow i saw him winning the first two rounds and possibly could have won..i had 115-113 but couls decide who to give it to...and they really didn't spinks enough credit..if you watch the fight again he buckled taylors legs in about the 6 or 7th...

spinks lost but not as bad as people on here said he was.

Spinks didn't win that fight . If that is how you win fights then we should overturn all the fights which have fair decisions. Just because Taylor fought a cautious and boring fight does not mean Spinks won. Spinks didn't do that much. He was quicker in someways at the beginning but when he slowed down Taylor was landing those right hands, and those right hands won the rounds slowly and he deserved the win. Taylor wasn't running from Spinks and Corey wasn't throwing wildly. This tells me that most of the shots Spinks threw were "look busy" punches that didn't land because he was backing up before his elbow even knew it was throwing a punch.

BoxingGorilla-Exactly When round one started Spinks landed a hard left on the inside to Taylor's face and I thought, ok this is not going to be as easy as it seemed. you could tell Spinks was not going to be a walk over. I can sometimes tell in 10 seconds if a guys weight will be a big advantage. By the size comparison and how his punches are hitting the other guy, and Spinks was not that small compared to Taylor.
