    Default What now for Pantera??

So he got his ass beaten, what now? I think he can still rematch Abraham but if I were him,I'd fight some lower leel fighters, get my confidence back up. He has too many things to work and as was showin in the fight, hes clueless when his power is not effective. Work on developing a more all around game and he can still be a major force imo. What do you guys think?

He will never be world champion i don't think i wasn't sold on Green fight but i think Miranda needs to get his confidence back by knocking out few no hopers but i honestly don't think he will be world champion.

Its not just about koing some no hopers and hoping he'll get another crack,he could get beaten up again. He needs to make improvements, adjustments. Develop a jab, shorten the punches and dam work on the defence? I really like Edison,I want him to do well and shall continue to cheer for him for sure, but he needs to improve.

His limitations were obvious against Pavlik. He landed some great shots and Pavlik shook it off and just kept coming forwards. Miranda had no plan b.

He can definitely still be a player, but needs to take a few low key fights and actually work on those skills. If he can adapt then he will be back at the top. Thats a big IF though...

i agree with El Gammo, no one will ever see Miranda as a world champion, I wll be shocked as all get out if that happens, El Gammo seems to have been seeing the same fight I saw.

I was there live, ringside, so I could see that Miranda was just plain beating, plus when you get knocked out once, thats one thing, but Miranda was knocked out 3 times before the referee stopped the fight.

I think its a bit early to write Miranda off. Pavlik just would not be denied last night and performed brilliantly. Miranda has beaten some very good fighters and went very close to beating Abraham, he can come again.
When God said to the both of us "Which one of you wants to be Sugar Ray?" I guess I didnt raise my hand fast enough

I am a big middle weight fan. The best class for that great combo of speed and power. I feel that Edison Miranda probably is still a top 4 or 5 middle weight period. I think he can give anyone problems including Taylor. Hell he can probably beat. This is not the end of the road for him. I hope he becomes a champ some day. Taylor should not get an apology from him at all. He has been ducking Pavlik and Miranda and he will continue to do so.

All miranda has to do is learn to roll with the punches a little better and stop dropping his hands. He dose need to be a better counter puncher and he should double up his hook and his right hand a little more.He has the body and the will to do so. He just needs to polish his tools a little more and the benifits should roll in.

Miranda the "kittycat" is a 1-dimensional fighter.

He got schooled by a master technician.

Miranda needs to go back fighting bums.

He needs to work on a jab, he has long ass arms , I think he had the reach on Pavlik. The defense is not there either.

That guy has no defense. He might as well retire because he will never be a legitimate champion like Taylor or Calzaghe. Talk about one-dimensional, I knew the dude was sloppy and had some work to do, but damn...

Lennox Lewis said "Miranda can't fight backward", and I agree.

Yes, he had the reach advantage but he didn't utilized some strong snapping jabs.

What I've noticed most from Miranda last night is he had stamina problem.
