Bold prediction, but on the back of being bang on the money regarding Pavlik Miranda I feel in a bold mood.

Zab dominates Cotto to the extent that some people will call it Calzaghe Lacy 2
When has Zab ever stayed focused for 12 rounds
He stayed focused against Spinks in the rematch...it didn't go 12 due to the fact that he ko'd Spinks...but it'd gone the distance had he not stopped him...so I say the Spinks fight.

Also...he was focused against both Witter & Corley & he was focused as fwock then.

Cotto is one of the most under rated boxers in the sport today. People keep on doubting his skills and ability to fight. This man goes into the ring with one purpose, to wup that ass. He doesn't talk smack at the press conferences, he doesn't pick his opponents, he just fights and that is what boxing needs. Boxing needs Fighters like Cotto. People want to pay to see fighters like Cotto. Not these bums who go to press conferences to talk shit, and say they gonna give Cotto a masterpiece or a Masacre. Judah ain't gonna do a damn thing. His job is to sell as many PPV as he can so he can get paid after the fight. While Judah is telling the public that he's gonna do this and that, Cotto is at the gym training getting ready for the fight.
Cotto not only can box but he can slug as well. He has everything you want in a boxer. But he hasn't received the recognition he deserves. It took Hopkins a win over trinidad to finally win the respect of the boxing world. It took trinidad a victory over DLH to be seen as a great fighter. And It took Winky Wright a win over Mosley to finally get his name put up there with boxing's best.

This fight is good for the welterweight division. It going to set up some MEGA fights in the upcoming years. Maywether can't keep running from power punchers like Cotto, Hatton etc.

    OUTCOME on JUNE 9th:
Judah's jab will be active early and often. Landing jabs, throwing alot of punches and moving around the ring and winning a couple of the early rounds. Cotto gets his shots early but not at a consistant pace to win the judges decision in those early rounds. By rounds 5-7 a star is born and we start seeing a masacre in the making. Judah starts to wear down as Cotto's power and left hook to the body start to make an impact on the fight. Judah might hit the canvas if he decides to go toe to toe. I see Judah getting frustrated as Paulie Mag did in his fight and I predict a knockout or a stoppage sometime from rounds 7-10. That is if Judah doesn't begin to run, cause if he does (which will most likely happen when he feels Cotto's power)..... then this will be a UD for Cotto in 12.

Never under estimate Cotto's power. Especially at 147.

Do we know who the referee is for this fight?

Since it's in NY, I'm assuming it's going to be Smoger, who I think is a very good ref.

They need an experienced ref in this fight. Judah obviously has a history of crazy behavior. Cotto's been accused of hitting in the back. A southpaw against a convential fighter always means a chance of head butts. There's certainly a good chance of fouls, point deductions, etc.

and it is quite possible cotto will be punching the back as judah has a side stance and is left handed so cottos left hook will probably find its way there a few times

I feel this fight will end by TKO. Who wins Any of them have the power to get that KO. No doubt I want Cotto to KO Judah, but I can not underestimate Judah's speed and power, specially in the first half of the fight, where I believe he will be more dangerous for Cotto.

This is a fight where I will be sure to have all beers and snacks close before it starts because I will not be surprised with an early KO (and may be first round), I don't want to live the same story as Tyson-Spinks. I think Judah will try to gain respect since the beginning trying to overwhelm Cotto. However, when Judah make this, he tends to commit lot of mistakes and get off balance. I feel that it will be key for Cotto not to fall in this trap and remain calm using his counter attack to the body and head. I think that Cotto's remaining calm is key for his victory. But, if he just try to exchange wild punches with Judah he is in danger on being TKO early. If the fight go to the distance Cotto should win by late TKO.

I completely agree with you. Judah's dangerous early in the fight. Judah is gonna come out early very active trying to KO Cotto and try to control the fight early. I'm sure Cotto's camp is aware of that and that is why I believe Cotto will start the fight slow(very defensive). Still landing his punches here and there, but not enough to please the judges. However, I feel that Judah will slow down in the middle rounds and Cotto begins to find his spots. And once Cotto begins to land that left hook to the body....Judah's night will come to an end earlier than expected. We have to remember, Cotto is stronger and hits harder in 147 than any other weight class he's ever been in. He is very accurate w/ his punches as well. I like Judah as a fighter but "IT'S COTTO'S TIME TO SHINE"
