How this is possible is beyond me

on skill factor yes i can understand it. but the rankings should be based on whos beat who. obviously the wbo dont see it like that

Yup, like everyone says, this is a bit of a shocker, and merely an aside to keep young Frank Warren in hairs that are not grey, as he tries to keep his British Boxing empire alive and kicking. He has been throwing contracts about a bit since the deal with ITV, and needs to produce more entertaining fights in order to keep the big contract. Otherwise we're back to little town shows promoting fighters that are little known fighting exclusively on Sky bloody Sports. No offence, but we need a level of competitiveness in the pro game.

Something to do with Frank Warren seen as most of his fighters fight for the WBO title. That is a joke Khan hasnt even fought any1 near the top 10 so how can he be ranked that high

I'd laugh if Diaz offered him the mandatory spot and destroyed him in one. I bet if Diaz offers it to Khan, Khan will try and take it.

does this mean we he gets knocked on his arse by a fairly un known they'll go straight abovehim on rankings

Khan ranked 10th in WBO rankings yet Limond the guy he is fighting next only lost once and that was to Alex Arthur is current commonwealth champ and he is 13th.

Miny you im ranked 6th in WBO heavyweight rankings and ive never boxed only joking but the WBO are bad when it comes to there ranking system

you know fine well how he's in the top ten in the WBO rankings, a monkey from NASA could tell you, Wank Warren runs the thing, all his fighters seem to end up with WBO ranking and weeks before a fight the champs opponent makes into the top ten. legitimate governing bodies like the WBC are'nt manipulated by scumbags like warren only the stepping stone micky mouse titles like the WBO are.

Doesn't WBO stand for Warren's Boxing Organisation? It's only Warren managed fighters who seem to be able to fight for titles
