Default A knockout win is more than possible for castillo!

Remember this boxing saying? "A good boxer always beats a slugger, a slugger always beats a volume puncher and a volume puncher always beats a boxer"

its not always true but in this case it could be!
i was impressed with the first half of hattons last fight. but not his opposition and the fact he fights twice a year.

some fighters fight betta as they move up in weight and take their power and more up with them in weight. e.g James Toney, Cotto etc..
thats why i think castillo will give ricky hatton fits and may be the harder puncher.

if this is a shoulder to shoulder affair, i wont be surprised if hatton gets caught cold by castillo. castillo is the slugger, hatton the volume puncher. hatton will throw 4 good punches, castillo may come back with 2 harder punches.

you can expect hatton to go down in this one. I cant wait. i dont think hatton has ever faced a castillo? if this goes to decision with hatton just absorbing everything the harder hittin (imo) castillo has to offer then he wins cos most likely he will throw and land more. unless he really hurts and breaks hatton down early on and slows him down, intimidates him from throwing punches.

hopefully its a good night of boxing!

I think Hatton outclasses Castillo. Castillo is good but in my mind Hatton has been more of the exception. I would be more inclined to think of Castillo getting stopped in round 9 or so.

I reckon Castillo is capable of beating Hatton, that's why the fight could be so exciting.

well he is aggressive like Hatton but Hatton is more skilled I think. The fight has brawl written all over it, yet Castillo is more shopworn than Hatton. If Castillo is in shape it will be a great 10 rounds or so but I think Hatton can stop Castillo.

It could be a case of who can land the better body shots early on will win.

Castillo won't stop Hatton. If he can't stop Rolando Reyes or Herman Ngoujo he won't be stopping Ricky in this fight.

It's going to be anticlimactic folks. Not one worth getting excited about

Gonna be a massive tearup - could be mega close - I reckon Hatton will nick it tho

Its crunch time for Ricky. No southpaws or late changes of opponant here, no illnesses to speak of, its time to put on a show and batter Castillo into submision. I think he will.

    Late TKO

    Yeah, later round Hatton TKO.

I agree with the sentiment that Castillo is shop worn...

I don't think this'll be the toe-to-toe affair people are expecting though. Ricky likes a scrap but he's still got a few paydays left in him and I think he'll box his way through the earlier rounds; no point taking a beating if he doesn't have to.

I cant see Hatton stopping him, i think a decision is on the cards, Castillo has never been down once, obviously he got tko by Corrales but that was an exception i feel and he was spent in terms of energy, maybe this fight will go the same but i think it goes 12.
