If that fight happens it's already 6 years to late IMO. jones should target the winner of Hopkins/ Wright if he wants to make a statement!Originally Posted by Puya

Unles Jones is really really impressive will Hopkins or Wright gonna bother fighting him?Originally Posted by galaxy76
Money talks in this game & I think both Hopkins & Wright would take the fight for that reason alone. I'd much rather see the winner face Erdei but Jones is a much bigger name!Originally Posted by eagle

You have a good point. I wouldnt mind seein the winner of Winky v Bhop against Kessler or Calzaghe.Originally Posted by galaxy76
That would be great but I think Calzaghe wants Taylor... no surprise as to why!Originally Posted by eagle

Hopefully that means Kessler fights winky or Bernard.Originally Posted by galaxy76
Sorry bro I'm picking Calzaghe over Kessler! But your right the winner of Hopkins/ Wright will be looking for another big name & the Calzaghe/ Kessler winner will be right in the mix!Originally Posted by eagle

If Winky wins (and I'm picking him to win), I could see him agreeing to fight Jones. But I don't think Hopkins-Jones II will ever happen. BHop and RJ might be the two most stubborn people in boxing, they'll never agree on money.Originally Posted by galaxy76
roy's argument is he's still the draw which would be true..but he does realize that he's lost a lot of steam..so whereas he used to demand 60/40 against other named fighters..he now saysOriginally Posted by SweetPea

I think if u told Winky & Bernard that the winner would face RJJ in a huge pay day fight, it would make their meeting a lot more interesting...and i think it would be a very strong motivation for Hopkins!!

I agree with you that he has nothing to prove to us as fans, but to himself I think he has allot to prove. I think he wants to prove that he can come back from what happened and retire a champion probably like he always dreamed of. But if he does end up getting beat I to think it really is time for him to hang the gloves up.Originally Posted by miles
