1. Vegas is the boxing capital of the world.
2. Both these fighters have contracts with HBO, an American company, so obivously HBO wants a major PPV event to be in the US, not the UK

A fight in the UK would have been cool. But this is just the way it works.

Floyd simply isn't going to come over to England to fight Hatton. And in America this is where the money is at.

Look, Wimbley could obviosly generate more revenue than Las Vegas. But like you complaining about Floyd getting an enormous ring (doubtful it would be more than 20 X 20). Over in England Ricky would get his officials that would allow him to do his hold and hit, hold, hold, hold.

Except for a title fight in Vegas,in a 20K arena,your looking at 1500 to 2K a ticket

Maybe the golden circle mate but no where near that for most of them
People paid nowhere near that for Hatton v Castillo and plus the fact it'll be 3/4 Brits too
You can't compare the revenue in a 20,000 seater to that of a 60,000 seater at all!
