Thread: You have had your time to bag out Mundine - Now honesty!!

I want a bit of honesty from everyone here at saddo boxing.

I want to know who chose Danny Green to beat Mundine. Who chose Echolls to beat Mundine and who chose Soliman to beat mundine? I also want to know who chose Kessler to KO him when he went the 12 rounds.

Just want some honest answers guys.

Because we all know it, Mundine has proved us wrong on numerous occasions. And chances are he will continue to in the future.

Thats why i keep my cards close to my cheust when i say he will beat either Calzaghe or Kessler or possibly both within the next couple of years.

But im just waiting for ice boxer and dry ice guy or whatever his name is, to say didn't Ottke ko him , the feather fister fighter. Even though he struggles to bring in fatigue, a perfect shot to the temple, and even after how he went the distance with Kessler.

So i want all of you to admit how Mundine has proved you wrong.

Then at the end of his career, i am going to reminise how you guys couldn't learn from the simplest of mistakes, possibly because hes an aborginal or most likely because he talks trash which he does not do off the boxing scene, to promote his fights. Which he is doing with success and making millions as we speak.

I thought Kessler would stop him late in the rounds. So yes I had Kess by TKO when they faced eachother...
Because Mundine went the distance with Kess does not change the outcome nore does it make it any better, I mean Andrade went the distance with Kess also. It earned Andrade respect just as it's earned Mundince.

As far as Mundine vs. Echols and Soliman. I sure as hell didn't think Echols would beat Mundine never have and never will like Echols I think the early matchups he had with B-Hop where just moments in time didn't mean much IMO....
As for the Soliman fight I was surprised that he stopped Soliman, I wasn't surprised that he won. Also I thought Mundine let him off the hook and could have pulled the trigger earlier in the fight...

All in all Mundines come a long way from the Sven fight hes grown and has improved over the years.... I'm sure he'll get a rematch with Kess sometime in the near future once Kess and Joe decide to settle their shit!


For the record I think Kess beats Mundine 10 out of 10 times.

Nice reply mick. i went for mundine in all those fights. He may have beat otke with more experience under his belt too. I am though a bit dissapointed in his recent bout with nievas. While it will ultimately be good for mundine to have a 12 round fight under his belt imagine what people would have said if calzaghe fought nievas for a title. All hell would have broken lose on this forum im sure of that. And for the fact that he didn't stop him too. Nothing against nievas but for a title fight? Please. Im sure people look forward to continued sucess for mundine but he has to be a little smarter to keep real boxing fans giving him the respect he wants.

In his last fight he looked like he was half asleep, he will never beat Kessler or Calzaghe. He's talented and dedicated but due to the character of himself and his gung-ho internet warrior fans all his negative qualities stick out, I could go on and on about the things I hate about Mundine, he's better than most at 168lbs but you won't hear me saying nice things about him because of the way he'll never beat a top guy, and is always slacking off in his fights.

I picked Kessler to dominate Mundine. And he did. I picked Manny Siaca to go into Australia and take Mundine's title in front of Mundine's own people. And he did. I picked Sven Ottke to get his 5th knock out against Mundine. And he did.

Your waiting for me ?? i don't see how beating up Middleweight Soliman is some sort of feat and yes Ottke the feather fisted Ottke koed Mundine that shows you how good Mundines chin is and Mundine has never proved me wrong he hasn't done anything that great and going the distance with Kessler isn't some sort of feat especially when he doesn't hit that hard and especially when Kessler won clear cut decision.

The funny thing here and at east side boxing forum, i searched all sub forums just before his bout with green and you all picked against him. Well most. Dude im starting to think your really simple in the head. Because he was Ko'd by Ottke in the 10th. Fatugue could have came into it, because i don't need to justify it, he was hit with a perfect temple shot and all fighters will go down when hit by a perfect temple shot. You fail to learn, your hatred makes you dillusional, anyone who goes 12 rounds with Kessler, does not have a bad chin. Just watch the 5th, and 7th of the Kessler fight, Mundine is hit with two massive rights, he stays up takes it well and retaliates. Theres no hate from the majority of people here we just say it how it is, he is quite a good boxer top five at 168, but far from the best, you say give him credit for not getting KO'd by Kessler wtf? Who was getting beaten comfortably by Middleweight Howard Eastman ( who has failed three well four if you count the Miranda knockout at world class) in 2000.
