Thread: DiBella Wants Taylor-Pavlik Clash at 168

This will be JT's last fight at168 and I have read this could be Pavliks's last fight there too so DiBella has approached Arum over the possibility of the fight being at a catch weight or at 168. Both guys are finding the weight hard to make.

I think it would be good as long as the fight happens



....I wonder if Floyd sees an opportunity to go to 160 and win a title....oh it would be sweet to see him KO'd

Alright that sucks,

160 was a division where there was a clear champ, this would set it back to square one.

So Taylor is vacating all his belts? I would think Pavlick would want to make every effort to at least win the Middleweight crown... I mean he earned his shot

i suppose, but beating taylor at SMw for a non belt is better than him beating a bumatmiddle weight for the wbc belt... + alot of people feel taylor is gunna get beat soon... and at SMw there aint gunna be any LMW stepping up to fight him... pavilk needs ot take his chance now.

Yea quite convient, he didnt complain about weight when signing to fight Ouma or Spinks(Natural Welters) now that he has to fight a murderous puncher that obliterated his nemesis Miranda and matches him for size he wants to do it in a non title catchweight fight.. He's definetly scared shitless of Pavlik

Not at all. If he thought Pavlik ws going to knock him out, he wouldn't have picked the fight.
