Default Joe Calzaghe vs Chris Eubank A Great Battle

I hadn't watched this in a while so i decided to watch it again and it was better than i even remember Calzaghe was landing flush shots all the time but brave Eubank would always try and comeback and you had some terrific exchanges and he even hurt Calzaghe quite bad with right hand at the end if anyone hasn't seen it i recommend you to do so its great battle.

Yeah, maybe if enough people see it again they will realise eubank was far form washed up and over the hill in that fight and stop making out that he was 50 and useless

Eubank was past it but he still had some fire in his belly if he didn't he would of been stopped.

Or they would say that Joe had a hard time with a guy who lost his next two fights and retired

you can really see how Joe's punching style has changed, he hit alot cleaner and less slap like in that fight,

Yep he caught Eubank with great shot to floor him early he landed some really hard flush shots on Eubank but good old Eubank just took everything and fought back you gotta admire Eubanks chin and heart even if you dislike him.

you can see throughout his career the more he broke his hands, the more he tended to 'slap'

Definitly cant question his heart, only one of his losses came by a TKO,and even then it was a swelling one
But yeah he was definitly spent,I mean his record was 4-5 for his last 3 years

eubank was way past it as far hard hitting feroius ko seeking fighter, that eubank retired the night of eubank vs watson 2. the eubank that carried on was laid back and looked to win purely on points, he'd lost a few fights before the calzage fight and came out of retirement to face joe.................. joe says to date eubanks the toughest man he's ever fought, in the first round joe lands a big left hook clean and drops eubank, chris jumps straight up poses and winks at joe and says good shot joe good shot, joe said he couldn't beleive it when that happened

Thanks, ICE COLD BOXING, I have seen the spectacular entrace, the 1st round and the 12th but there's something missing in this one - I don't know if it is the fact that Eubank was no longer undefeated or that Calzaghe never had the charisma Chris had, well, I have bought and enjoyed Chris vs Watson II, vs Collins I, vs Benn I & II on DVD and same thing for Joe vs Lacy but getting Chris vs Joe for the WBO title in 1997, I just don't know...

Robin Reid was Calzaghe's toughest fight.

Robin Reid was Calzaghe's toughest fight.
I was reading Calzaghes book the other day, he was saying Eubank was his hardest fight, but vs Reid was the worst he has ever performed (he doesn't give any credit to Reid).

Possible to get that download link ?

Thank you so much, ICE, I've seen it on yt... I am a fanatic who spends long hours studing how styles match-up and what could have happened if... So I am interested in Joe yes but I have so much other fighters of the past I love more than Chris, Mike McCallum and Bernard Hopkins are the sort of middles I like most... But believe me, I've payed and seen Chris LIVE whe he was undefeated and tell ya what... WHAT A SHOW!
