Katsidis's style is brilliant to watch, maybe the most exciting fighter out there at present and he's been in two top contenders for fight of the year imo.
The boy's hard as nails (he was jailed for 8 months for breaking someones jaw in a street fight) and a relentless finisher and would KO Amir in the first round!
Where all this B*llshit Khan hating is coming from after only 13 fights is clever too
So the boys a litle chinny but that's never stopped others winning world titles before and Graham Earl put Katsidis on his A** only a few months ago

If anyone in team FW ever mentions Katsidis again it's an instant sacking...link him with Khan, expect to be bumped off

Khan's nowhere near ready for the likes of this guy. He never will be either unless he gets a new set of trainers, saw the limond fight for the first time last night and, honestly, he's added nothing to his game for a few fights now. All that was different was that his work rate was less as he anticipated a possible 12 round fight.

He has speed and reflexes to match anyone at the weight, but he is still way to easy to hit. Hope this last fight is the wake up call he needs.

You guys are all going over the top.

Amir is 20 years old and has had 13 fights. Katsidis is 26 and has had 23. If they fight now Katsidis would probably win, so what?

Give Amir another couple years and he will have matured and improved another 50%

His chin may never be the most solid but I doubt it will hold him back too much. I'm sure Khan will step up eventually, when he and his team feel he's ready.

Another couple years and he'll be ready for the likes of Katsidis.

Plus if Kats fights his future fights like he did this weekend he'll be washed up and done by then anways

katsidis would probably put khan in a body bag if they fought now becus khan has no chin and a eak defence however give the boy time and he can come could. plus i'm not impressed with katsidis anyway he isin't a true boxer just a absolute brawler and frankly although that does work sometimes it can't take you to the top. hope if or when he fights diaz he gets knocked out. i mean come on he was getting out thought by the guy he fought last night and he is no where near a top fighter at that weight.

    Well said Bilbo...and thank f*ck !!!
I was reading through this and getting thoroughly annoyed! The boy is 20 years old, 13 fights and still learning his trade. He beat a legend in Kindelan in his last amature fight infront of a huge crowd. He hasn't lost yet and he has won 2 minor belts already.

He HAS got potential, he isn't a world level fighter yet and Katsidis is too much of a step up to early...but as Bilbo said Khan has fought 10 fights less than Katsidis and is 6 years younger...who's to say that when Khan is his age that he won't be as good.

Give the bloke a break...he is still learning...who in his position wouldn't get a little ahead of himself and be this damn excited!!!

    Nuff said!

back. It amuses me how quick people hop on and off the bandwagons, seemingly after every fight

It wouldn't suprise at all if in 12 months time everyone will be arguing the exact opposite and laughing at the idea that Kats would beat Khan.

You can't sum up a fighter's entire career from one fight, a tremendous amount can happen in a year. Khan will be ok.

Khan most likely wont be boxing when he's Katsidis age.

If he goes the next 6 years without getting knocked spark out.. knocked spark out again on the comeback.. and knocked spark out again on the final hurrah, it'll be a miracle.

Mate you need to chill on the Kahn bashing he has had 13 fights never been 12 rounds, give the kid a break, hes not readt for that level there talking about putting Kat in with the best in the division, Kahn aint ready for that level.
I agree. Give the guy a break, he is still very young and only at the start of his career. Admitedly he shouldn't be talking himself up as much as he has been though.

Even that wouldn't hurt his career though, he'd become the next Frank Bruno and would be more popular than ever

By the amount of times he said - "you know i mean" in his recent interviews he's firmly heading down the Bruno route.

    By 2009 it'll be
