I've seen a few Arthur fights,I like him,but I'm not sure if he could hang with either of these guys. I read this from one of the "other" sites.

Well he deserves his shot at the WBO champ...
doubt he'd beat either of those two though.
Doubt as in certain.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
Im with you there Fenster, i cant see him hanging with many at World Class, Guzman and Soto would probably knock him out.Originally Posted by Fenster

yep the predictions are zero chance and no chance
I can't remember seeing Soto but Guzman beats Arthur easily.
EDIT : Saw Soto on the Cotto-Judah undercard. Wouldn't fancy Arthur against him either.
i heard from somewhere....that they want Guzman vs Pac-Man...how yall think that would play out??
Against either guy I think Arthur would be lucky not to get KO'd!
As for Pacquiao/ Guzman I'd love to see it, IMO Pacman would be a little to much but Guzman would certainly present a difficult challenge!

I'd love to see Guzman vs Pacquiao as well. Would be an awesome fight..Guzman took and dished out a lot of hard shit against Barrios and his speed is blistering. He could cause Pacquaio some problems. The only thing is he hasn't KO'd anyone in his last 6 I believe. I think his power is waning as he moves up the weight classes.
I think your right. I think his last KO was when he was still at 122 against Agapito Sanchez. Guzman's technical ability maybe able to offset Pacquiao's offense at times but I don't know for how long.Originally Posted by Althugz

Has Arthur improved much lately. I've seen one of his fights since the Gomez fight but missed the last few.
He's way too slow for Guzman IMO. I'd give him a better shot against Soto but I don't know how he's looked lately. Still wouldn't favor him against Soto from what I've seen.
As for Pac-Guzman, I think Guzman has the best chance except for maybe JMM. In fact I'd go ahead and say I'd pick Guzman.
Alex Arthur didn't look too comfortable early doors in his last fight, but got better down the stretch and finished the guy off well. Arthur deserves the shot, even if it is a huge step up for him.
