    Default Could PBF get complacent?

Having beat De La Hoya up at 154lb.Floyd will be taking on a lighter opponent in Hatton at 147 with Hatton stepping up a weight and not many people giving Hatton a chance.Could this be a fight that Mayweather will get complacent in ?

PBF is always super confident in his ability and who wouldnt if they were as good as him.Is there any chance he will not take this fight as serious as the De La Hoya fight?

I don't think he will be complacement, if he can bring his A game for the likes of Sharmba Mitchell and Henry Brussles he be ready for Hatton.

I think Floyd along with Bernard Hopkins probably trains more and is more focused than just about any other fighter out there.

He's never yet not trained properly for a fight and I don't think he'll slack now.

Floyd does seem to be very focused and dedicated, but complacency is always a possibility. I'm sure Floyd views Hatton as being a less dangerous opponent than Oscar, and therefore there's always the chance he enters the ring overconfident.

Pernell Whitaker's skills started to diminish around the age of 31, and a lot of that was due to complacency and a decreased emphasis on conditioning.

If PBF does get complacent I'm sure Hatton will take full advantage of it!! Hatton will be at his peak for his ultimate carear defining fight and he will swarm all over him for the full 12, and unlike oscar he ain't going to tire down the home straight.
Floyd is one hell of a boxer but even at 99% he will struggle to handle Hattons workrate and constant pressure fighting style.
I hope it will be Hattons night to shine but its hard to predict a loss for the pretty boy, but if he does lose i hope he doesn't have any excuses and he takes the loss as a man who got beat by a better fighter on the night!!!

I would be carefull on starting a thread on this topic. It would only give Floyd fans an excuse if Hatton beats him.

If Hatton wins it will be well deserved and no "but" should label his victory.

....No I don't think Hatton will win this one..

Floyd will bring his game to the ring , and so will Hatton , this one may be closer than many people think

I've never seen Floyd get complacent, but if it's gonna happen against any guy it's gonna be someone he has no respect for, who he calls fat garbage. If the fame off of the Oscar fight gets to his head and he is anything less than 100% in the ring Hatton will expose him for sure.

It might be something like..."These judges today know nothing about boxing. This is the sweet science, aint about who hit most or who was busy, it's about skill and looking pretty. Ain't nobody prettier than the Pretty Boy. I'm the greatest pund for pund all time. Ray Robbinson couldn't shine my shoes."

Maybe....i don't know if he is guna want it as much as hatton does. Floyd has already done it all pretty much and this is the one big thing hatton has been workin towards.

I don't think mayweather has fought anybody with the hunger that hatton has for this fight

stil think mayweather will win.....but it should be a close one....providin nady isnt ref'in

Nope not at all Mayweather trains hard for every fight always take his fights serious and he will be definetly training hard for Hatton especially how much reward Mayweather can get for this fight.

I don't think he will be complacent, Hatton will snap him out of any complacency by round 2 if he is.
Floyd will take Hatton very seriously and so he should, the Fatboy will prove to be a handful.
I actually believe Tszyu took Hatton a little lightly before their fight and thought he would walk right through Hatton, he got a huge shock as we know.
I think Floyd will be well prepared for an opponent who will attack him on all fronts.
