I saw the fight and it was a pretty good one actually. Most rounds had Gevor coming forward in the first one or two minutes, quite many times with Abraham 'trapped' in the corner or against the ropes. Gevor was never really effective though, and Abraham, despite only letting it loose for about 20 seconds per round, landed the cleaner and harder shots. In my opinion he won almost all the rounds, even if one was left with the wish that he would do more than he did. Especially since it looked like Gevor was actually in trouble some times.

Anyway, by the end of the fight both fighters began to look a bit tired which also created more openings for Abraham. And that 11th round KO was straight out of the highlight reel. One of the best I've seen in a long time. Abraham catches him a few times, and then finishes off with a devastating left hook. Gevor's head seems to bounce from side to side as he fells on his knees. And then to the canvas. And everybody in the arena, or in front of the tv screens instantly knew that there wasn't even reason to start counting - the fight was over right there.

    Impressive win for King Arthur.

Default Arthur Abraham vs Khoren Gevor...What a fight !!! Spoiler !!!

What a great fight(at least when you watched it live...)...
Very exciting like I hoped it would be...
Gevor gave Abraham everything he could handle in the beginning of the fight, being the aggressor
and having the much higher workrate...Abraham,who looked tired from the beginning(which I guess
is normal for AA...its just the way he looks...)hid behind his defense trying to counter...
But even though the first rnds were evenly matched or could have gone to Gevor,AA did come
more and more through with big punches, that I asked myself, how much can this Gevor take...
Most of the punches Gevor took he did without blinking only at the end of the fight there was
some effect, cause Gevor became slower and was wobbled from time to time...
Then in the end of rnd 11 AA knocked Gevor out and that was a really brutal KO...

If Gevor had had more power or sticked to the game plan which was boxing not fighting,
he may have won thi fight...But good victory for AA...

And a great fight...download this if you can...

Don't know if there will be another fight this year, but his next fight maybe in the US...
AA promoter Sauerland tries to make a fight against Jermain Taylor, which I really doubt will
    happen,but who knows...

i cant see him going to the US to be honest. too risky for him. i think he could get another win in, it looks like hes propa up for fighting and he didnt have a big break from his last fight. He needs this experience at the world level so he could maybe compete in america and be assured for a win. He looks like he has good punching power though and that is a good thing for him if he wants to go to america

Well I think that it's pretty nailed on that he is going to the US for his next fight. It was on fightnews earlier in the week that Wilfried Sauerland said that the next fight would definitely be in the US, as long as he got past Gevor. Whoever he fights, there's plenty of decent middleweights over there for him to fight. And who knows...we might see him in the UK.

Well...the part with him going to the US is pretty reliable, but him fighting Taylor is not...
I think AA can compete with every middleweight out there, who successful he will be can
only be said after the fight, but I give him more than a good chance to win...

    And another pic...

he should fight some top contendors like Gevor and get some real good experience. i think at the momment he would not beat pavlik or taylor, but that could change if he got more fights under his belt.

Maybe a rematch against Miranda in Vegas to up his profile a bit in the US...maybe on the undercard of one of the really big fights coming up in the autumn/winter season.
