Default Are there any US football games on around the time of the Hatton fight?

Always wanted to watch an american football game in the US.

I know LA has a team but are there any collages closer by that would have games on at the time.

....LA doesn't have a professional team....Oakland does though.

December is the end of the college football season and the start of the bowl season which means there are no college games scheduled for that day/weekend.

As for the NFL Oakland will be in Green Bay on the 9th and San Diego will be in Tennesse

I love how someone from England will say that.. it's not a 'real' sport.. So your 'football' involves kicking a ball, and when someone gets hit by someone intentionally (and sometimes not even intentionally) you get a yellow or red card resulting in a sort of penalty... American football REQUIRES hitting people.. So what is it, is american football too manly for your or something? Football players here get paid just as much, if not much much more than Soccer players here, and in England.. and they'd get paid a whole load more if their was no salary cap. Are you jealous that you don't have American football? Cause we have your 'football' and our own.. i don't get it. Ignorance.

In my limited experience I find college football much more exciting than the NFL.

Yeah, it's cool.. i just thought it was funny.. i just wasn't sure if that was the general opinion of people not from the US on here.. i wouldn't have said what i posted about football without it being a reply to a post of utter ignorance.

I agree in most cases and i think there's a few really good reasons why. The hashmarks are wider in college football so somebody has a lot of space to be opened up by blockers if they try and run it to the other side of the field. Defenses aren't as organized so there'll be alot of offensive explosions and liekwise, because of sometimes subpar offenses the defense will just look amazing. Also you got the one foot instead of two feet rule for catches so very tricky catches can be made in college that can't be in the nfl.

A friend of mine got tickets for a regular season game in respectable seats for about $70 but the more mainstream teams in bigger cities will be pricey.
