Default Junior Witter vs Harris. *Spoiler inside*

    Witter KOs Harris!
WBC super lightweight champion Junior Witter (36-1, 21 KOs) knocked out former WBA champion Vivian Harris (28-3-1, 18 KOs) in round seven of their world title fight on Friday night at the Doncaster Dome in Doncaster, England. Witter was in command for most the fight, and it was a flush left hook that leveled Harris for the count. Witter is now hoping to land an eventual showdown with countryman Ricky Hatton.

In fact, no-one on the Witter team even mentioned the name "Hatton" as they carried out their post-fight interviews, speaking about Witter being the best at 140lbs, and a possible bout with Paulie Malignaggi. Indeed, Witter could well be trying to play down any talk of Hatton, as that clash is as far away as ever.

Well i think Witter should try get back in there before Chirstmas then he can talk about Hatton.

The more i think about it the more i think it might happen, this would attract 50 thousand + at Man City's stadium and Ricky has talked about a home coming for a while.

witter desrerves a big money fight. The guys really earned it. Its too bad he doesnt get much recognition in the US and hes not very marketable imo. Still he is very deserving of a big fight.

That's the first time in over 2 years that Witter has came out and tried to hurt the guy, right off the bat. It's so frustrating because Qitter coulds have been doing this for the last 3 years and he would be on the big stage. I was impressed tonight big time, it just just makes me wonder why oh why hasn't Witter being performing like this over the years.

Boxed well, I mean all around and like I said he brought on some pressure when he needed to.

I don't give him that much credit for the win as I stated in the other thread cause me personally I never thought much of Harris.
So credit to Witter for the win and doing what I think was expected but now he needs to move on to bigger and better things.

He was typically limbo hands down style which i hate , but he sat down with his punches from the first bell , i was not impressed with Harris who didn't have any plan B , but Witter looked about as good as he ever will.
GOOD WIN , NOT THE BEST TO WATCH , He would beat Paulie in this form for me .

Def. agree Al. As far as Paulie being 'the force' at 140.......I just don't believe the hype.

I think Harris' plan B was tocome forward . At the start he tried to stand off and counterpunch but when he realised he wasnt quick enough he changed his plan and things went from bad to worse.

This is how Jnr is guna make Ricky fight him with performances like this . No good just talking big . If Ricky loses to Floyd he'll have no choice but to fight Witter

After watching a performance like that Ricky will be best advised to stick to "i'm not giving him a payday, he disrespects me to much" line.
