Default Billy Dib to fight NABF champ Mtagwa.

Young Aussie sensation Billy Dib(trained by Shane Mosley) is set to fight Rogers Mtagwa the experienced Tanzanian NABF Featherweight Champ. Dib has said that a win over Mtagwa could lead to a fight against Jorge Linares.
The fight will be on the Cotto Mosely undercard. Dib fights under the Goldenboy banner, and Mosely and ODLH have big expectations for the kid.
    Any thoughts?

    CC#120 from me eagle...
Top stuff here... Billy def. looks to have the good and being trained by SSM just gives you that much of a boost.

I've seen 2 Dib fights and he looks very entertaining. Between he & Kats they are putting Oz on the map.
This is HUGE step up in class for Dib Mtagwas been there and back and has seen it all.
Beating Matagwa is good for Dib, beating Matagwa in style is far more better especially if he stops him.
As far as Linares vs. Dib, I just don't see it happening anytimt soon. Dibs at SuperFeather, Linares just captured a title at Feather I don't think Linares plans on moving up soon.

    Good thread eagle.

For those who haven't seen Dib.

Dib pretty much shut out Mtagwa who altho being not that skilled is a tough competitor. Good win for Billy, altho he showed a bit too much emotion after the win for my liking and totally ignored Mtagwa who was congratulating him. Needs to keep things in perspective.

I agree on all counts. I really dislike certain that do shit like that.
I really didn't like that he did that. He keeps acting like that hes gonna get KTFO.

Dib didn't impress me at all. He keeps fighting with his hands down like It'll only be a matter of time before he gets knocked out.

Didn't get to see it here in Aus. Typical. Started with Ortiz V Maussa. Hope he's not following the Darchinyan model with the hands down "I'm gonna knock everyone out" thing. But i really hope he does well, can't be bad having Mosley train you.
