HAHA, yeah what was that? That was almost as bad as the Calzaghe one. That was a sick flurry, but he looked to me like he was gettin his hands up, and he did throw back before. Stopping it after 2 shots is a bit early, even for heavyweights.

I kept rewinding it and it looked like a good stoppage to me Dudes hands fell down and his head was laying over, though as soon as the ref stopped it he seemed to immediately picked his head up and started complaining. If it was a bad call it was Walker's fault for not keeping his hands up. Who knows.....who cares

It sucks when an early stoppage cheats a fighter out of their right to compete. But the alternative of them taking too much damage is a greater risk. I've seen a ratio of about 4 to 1 for fights that go on too long to fights that end early. Also keep in mind that conventional count outs are also subjective because they rely on the judgement of the ref for the count speed and when the count ends. A fighter who deserves to win should never put themselves in that position.

The absolute worst thing that can happen is a Leavander Johnson type situation. Those are the only times a fighter can die in the ring.

The worst stoppage ever has to be Joe over Manfredo.

I don't know it was early but Walkers head looked like Castillo did in that fateful 11th round against Diego Corrales.

He definitely looked as if he was about to get smoked.

Watch the replay where you can see Walkers face from the front, he was completely gone.

A couple more shots and he'd have been on the canvas for sure.

If anything it gives Walker an excuse and robbed Wilson of a highlight reel KO.

But Walker was going to get smoked no doubt in my mind, although I would have loved to see it.

I also corrected the round at the top Bilbs.

Yeah too quick of a stoppage

    but

He was only another few punches way from being knocked out. His hands dropped and he took two solid punches prior to the stoppage.

I would have rather see it through to conclusion
