i havnt heard much of vargas speak early in his career but do guys reckon he has a speach slurr due to boxing?

I don't reckon.... It's pretty much the only reason for his slur.

He slurred even before the fight. During the press conference.

That was one of Mayorga's insults to Vargas, he said something like,

"Look at you. Your tongue is already heavy, I can talk circles around you. Your too slow. I'm faster than you. The game has already affected you. I'm going to retire you."
