    Default Abram v Elcock

Does anyone know if this is gonna be televised in uk? Don't think there's any other decent fights involving British fighters that particular weekend.... Will get the missus to tape if so as I'll be in Vegas with a couple of the lads on the piss. There has been no coverage whatsoever or build up to this fight in Britain.

Well the fight is taking place in Switzerland so not sure how much coverage it will get.
The network "ARD" in Switz is televising it.

The only way I can see Elock beating Abraham is if he can out land and out throw Abraham. But judging Elock by some fights I've seen of him I don't think he can. I see Abraham out boxing him.

So are the odds justified Mick? I read in an earlier thread that if Eastman would have beaten Elcock then Eastman would have got rematch with Abraham, obviously Elcock beat Eastman so...

    Is it a complete mismatch?

    You taking the piss, mate?

    Khan-Earl
    Moore-Euroshot
    Duddy-Eastman

And the odds seem about right to me. I expect Elcock to get KO'd, sharpish.

Come on Fenster...you can't rate those mugs up there with Elcock.

But seriously, I doubt any British Tv network is going to get a sniff of that fight next weekend. Another Brit in a world title fight....but they just chose the wrong weekend. I don't see Abraham as a 1/33 favourite, but he really should have way too much for Elcock if we're being honest.

Sky wouldn't even buy Elcock-Eastman last time (shown tons of them over the years), the "world" title angle doesn't mean anything.

If Elcock goes past 6 rounds he's done well. (bear in mind i'm seriously out of form - expect a HUGE Elcock upset)

Apparently there's some fat bloke named Ricky fighting as well. Wasnt that supposed to be decent fight?

(Yes, obviously he is taking the piss. He even mentions Vegas).

Also: CutMeMick, not that it matters, but ARD is the major German network (like BBC in England).

Mikkel I have just realised how awesome your CC/SC ratio is after only 130sih posts...impressive! Let me help with that! CC#51

It would be a huge shock if Elcock won this one...but I saw a few of his earlier fights and he has got loads of heart!

Big title fights bring out sensational performances...cue Gavin Rees!
