As you guys all know, I'm not a fan of floyd and I doubt anyone wanted him to lose any more than I did. That being said, I give credit when it's it's due and he deserves credit for a very good performance and pretty much hanging in there to beat Ricky in impressive fashion. Props to Floyd.

I said all along that Hatton had no chance in the fight but while watching I realized there was some possibility if he didn't tire or get too reckless. Hatton showed me alot even in defeat and made it alot more interesting than I had expected. He definitely used every bit of whatever he had and that is a very rare thing in this sport. Props to Ricky.

That being said, although he seemed to give him all he can handle, I knew Ricky wasn't the guy to really challenge floyds undefeated mark.

I am very disappointed that my fear came true when floyd said he was retiring or taking a break or whatever he wants to call it just when things were heating up to the point where he was going to have to fight the guys that pose a real threat in his own weight class. Obviously that's not a knock on hatton cause he fought great.

I'm not one of those guys that says floyd is a bum or trash his talents, but I can't call a guy the best if he's not fighting the best possible competition, period.

Nice fight though, I can't say I wasn't entertained.
