Default HATTON, King of the 140 pounders.

I was just wondering if you think Hatton could go on and become the best ever 140 pounder.

A fight against Witter who is in the pound for pound top 25. Giving him a WBC.

I don't see why Hatton couldn't unify the division.

I think he can become one the greatest Jr Welterweight's for certain but not higher than Julio Cesar Chavez.

Well I don't think JCC was at his best at Light Welter but he's still a little above Hatton.
Should Rick beat Witter, Malignaggi, Torres/Hopkins, Juan Diaz and an up and comer like Peterson then he will be in strong contention. But thats a huge ask.

I know Chavas is a great boxer. But he was more of a multiple weight champion.

He never unified the division. Same goes for Aaron Pryor.

Do you think Hatton could unify the division? Or do you even think he will try?

I just don't know if i'm biased i haven't seen all the LWW title holders fight so don't really know.

Witter isn't in the top 25 p4p there are dozens of excellent fighters out there who would rate higher than Junior Witter, just off the top of my head.

    1. Mayweather
    2. Pacquaio
    3. Calzaghe
    4. JM Marquez
    5. Cotto
    6. Hopkins
    7. Vazquez
    8. R Marquez
    9. Wright
    10.Juan Diaz
    11.Calderon
    12.Pavlik
    13.Hatton
    13.Mosely
    14.Guzman
    15.Kessler
    16. De La Hoya
    17.Taylor
    18.Haye
    19.Spinks
    20.Forrest
    21.Williams
    22.Klitschko
    23.Chris John
    24.Donaire
    25.Ponce De Leon
    26.Solis
    27.Abraham
    28.Margarito
    29.Woods
    30.Mundine

That's 30 who in my mind definitely all rank above him. He's in the next 30 probably near the top of the list of fighters such as Molitor, Bute, Mormeck, Bell, Mijares, Darchinyan, Sturm, Lacy, Karmazin, Casamayor, D Diaz, Dawson, Cintron etc.

I'd put him at around 35ish. Basically the best you can say about him is he has a belt.

A good list Bilbo, but I don't understand how Kessler is higher than Hatton.

I thought I put Hatton higher than Kessler?

Anyway my list isn't set in stone, I just did it off the top of my head. If I sat down and thought about it I'd probably change it around a bit.

I doubt it Floyd hasn't actually beaten anyone of any real note at light welter weight. So he can't be.

Yes you half wit he did beat Gatti for the WBC. But only because the WBC was vacant. LMAO
