Default Malignaggi Talks Pep,Hatton And Ngoudjo

Jerry Glick reporting: Paul Malignaggi is proud of comparisons to all time great Willie Pep. Not only is Malignaggi a lightning fast boxer as was Pep, but they are both Italian and both of their families originated in the same city in Siracusa,Italy. They are both first generation Americans in their respective families. And of course, they both held world boxing championships. Pep was the Featherweight Champion back in the 1950’s and Malignaggi is the IBF Light-Welterweight King.

Malignaggi is a tool! He runs his mouth 24/7. He has talent, but doesn't need to run his mouth so much.

    Hatton whoops his bum IMO

Well Paulie is good, no doubt about it!

I like his style and although I wish (for his own sake,) that he had some more power, I do like him as a boxer.
    But...
He's neither King of the Light Welters nor the new Willie Pep.

Malignaggi's speed will cause Hatton a few problems early but he has no power and Ricky will just walk though his punches and out work him over 12 rounds.
