    Default Sultan - Klitschko

when sultan got a draw against austin i thought 'at least he wont have to fight klitschko yet' even tho i felt he beat austin

i think at this point sultan is as ready as he could ever be for klitschko, so if hes going to fight him its best to do it now

i think sultan may make it 12 rounds with big vladdy, but this fight troubles me, cuz i dont wanna see sultan or big vladdy get KTFO

i see why people think sultan is just gonna get KTFO too, hes like the PERFECT height and has the PERFECT stance for the straight right hand, but i think people underestimate sultans boxing ability

anyway now chagaev is gona have to face valuev again and there will be a mandatory for the IBF right after this one, so its gonna be a while before there is a 3 belt champ, chagaev and sultan both clearly want to unify, and it seems klitschko is ready now too, im still hoping that somehow klitschko faces valuev, and i dont think valuev would ever defend the WBA title against klitschko so maybe if chagaev dominates him again klitschko can get valuevs attention with a title shot

i think people will start to take valuev more seriously now that he has a loss and isnt the 41-0 circus act

anyway i just hope nobody gets KTFO on saturday

I think Saturday will be a true test of how long and fast Ibragimov can ride his bike. His best hope is to keep away from Klitschko's deadly 1-2 after the 2nd round (Klitschko likes the first 2 to feel out his opponent). Klitschko will wrap him up when he gets in too close so he has to be in and out as quickly as possible to maintain effectiveness while preventing a shotgun of a counter.

It's a tall order and I think it will be too tall for Ibragimov. I've wondered how sturdy his chin is and we'll see Saturday because there is no way he gets through this fight unscathed. I say Klitschko by UD with Ibragimov being knocked down twice.

Sultan will have to be sneaky or wild with his power punches to win...I have NO DOUBT he canNOT win a decision vs Wladimir.

Wlad just needs to be calm if Sultan is wild and if Sultan is calm then he procedes with his usual offense.

I just haven't been that impressed with Sultan...Wlad is a better boxer and a harder puncher than ANYONE Sultan has shared the ring with, whereas Sultan is just another guy on Wlad's record....he's not a better boxer than Chris Byrd or a bigger puncher than Sam Peter.

Watch that and tell me Sultan stands a chance on Saturday!

Sultan gets tired, his chin isn't the greatest and Wlad is not some half assed fighter he's the best heavyweight in the world! Ibragimov's biggest fights are vs NOBODIES!

    Shannon Briggs
    Ray Austin
    Evander Holyfield

And he knockedout 0 of them and only knocked 1 down!!!

Wlad is going to stomp a mudhole in Sultan's ass!

I like both fighters but you know I'm pulling for Wlad. What I like about Sultan is that he seems to rise to the level needed and his skills are sharper than they were the day he danced with Ray Austin.I'm sure Sultan will be at the top of his game this weekend but it won't be enough.

Sultan is probably the best boxer-mover in the heavyweight division, and a very solid fighter, but so was Chris Byrd when Klitschko faced him, and Byrd was a southpaw, now Sultan hits harder than Byrd, but he is slower. I think that Wlad's jab will set the distance, bust Sultan up, then his right hand or left hook will take Sultan out. Wlad has incredible strength and power, and he is too good of an overall athlete IMO for Sultan.

    Agreed.

Sultan is a quick boxer, but it's not like Wlad is a statue. Wlad knows how to box too and is surprisingly quick on his feet for a man of his size.
