    Default Pacquiao's weight

Pacquiao repotedly weighed in at 133lbs last saturday.

What do you guys think of this?
If he has legitimately been training harder than ever is this an indication that he's growing as a fighter and may have difficulties in the future?
133 seems pretty good though and he should have no real difficulty.

Pacquiao wants to be 130 exactly comes weigh-in. He wants to be 144-150 the night he fights Marquez according from what I read in Pacland. He wants to be bigger than Marquez.

obviously yes his growing and i believe this will be his last fight at 130. He did say he only stayed to fight jmm and was also willing to stay at 130 to fight valero but valero suddenly thinks his not ready. Anyways, pac will be looking to win a lightweight title at 135 after this fight with jmm.

Before you guys answer, go on and try reducing 3lbs in 1 week. You'd be disappointed. It's really, really difficult to reduce weight.
Once in awhile, get outside in fresh air, take a deep breath & with a deep sigh, let out all the things that's bottled up inside you & be free, & you'll get a glimpse of nirvana.

If I skipped breakfast tomorrow morning I'd lose three pounds easily.

Does that mean you eat 3 pounds of breakfast?

That is not true. You can lose 3 lbs in a day. In boxing the're not actually loosing weight, as much as they are cutting weight. For several days before the weigh-in, fighters stop taking in sodium, accordingly, they do not retain water weight. Thus, they can "safely" drop between 10 and 15 pounds for the weigh in. Although, like I said, it is not actual weight, only water weight. So when they drink water or resume salt intake, they will quickly reabsorb the weight back.

That is why you see fighters gaining upwards of 20lbs after the weighin

You can even test it yourself.
Look at the sodium intake of everything you eat, and dont eat any salt for a day. You will momentarily lose 5lbs.

yea losing 3lbs isn't that hard at all. It can be easily done in a day. I range from 157-165lbs. our weight actually change everyday, nobody maintains an exact weight for a whole week. I know so cause I have a digital weight scale. Everyday I shower, I curiously look how much i weight that day. I notice if I'm above 162 Im more grumpy but if Im below 162 but above 157 Im in a happy mood.

I sometimes weight myself in the mourning, I could be 165 but then after a hard day at work I could be down to 157lbs. thats 8lbs in less than 24 hours. Ofcourse im tired and hungry and as soon as I have dinner and wake up the next day I could weigh in at 165 again.

I won't argue much with you guys about this weight issue but what I'm saying is that the way I understand it, pac weighed 3 extra pounds after all the weight reduction regiments. If that is so, that extra 3lbs will be crucial in his effort to further reduce that to zero. Remember, he's not trying to shed off that extra 3lbs just 'out of the blue' so to speak, but he's trying to do so after he has sweated out all he's got the last two month or so. If it were as easy as you guys sez, then he shouldn't be agonizing over his decision to whether move up or not; does that make sense? Besides, you're not supposed to drain yourself out completely at the last minute or else you end up with nothing left - you know as in 'weight-drained'...
    Ok, next stupid question please...
...hehe, just kiddin' boys - luv you kidz.

You have a point. Anyway, if Pacquiao loses because of his weight problem then I won't use it as an excuse in case he loses against JMM.

Definitely, there will be no excuses in this fight.

If losing weight becomes his problem come fight time, then I must say that Pacquaio doesn't deserve my admiration.

Pac is all good. No weight issue.
