While Cotto completed his intense routine of training , he realized his first weight and made 159 pnd. , 10 pnd. under of 15% that require by the Boxing Commission of P.R. for this date. He said that feel more strong and very well at comparing in his previous fight and are in a stage where should be and doing what should have to do for the date of the fight in April/12/08 . Our jobs are been intensificating with my trainer Phil Landman , where now i making a routine of exercise by sand in the beach few days in a week for get more stronghest legs and stamina where are to outline in a future fight with Margarito.Whos said that want to face with Cotto after Cintron. Cotto advice him that he should focus in his fight with Cintron and then after the fight they will talk on that , but he now are focus in his fight with Gomez. In the interview of this journal , they ask him, if he studied a previous fight of Gomez and Cotto said that he usually don't like to do that , but he saw some segments of his participation in The Contender and is a kind of boxer that like make pressure and get the fight and with a little smile he answer , but " that is the style that i really like ".

I've spent the last three days watching Cotto. What I've noticed is the smile. He smiles rarely, but when he does you know he's confident!

Hi Donny you are righ , is true , he does , his training are to outline with a fight with Margarito , he are getting more in shape if that fight comes....... Good to see you Donny......

I believe a fight with Margarito will be a severe test. Cotto's output will have to be up, his determination will have to remain gravelly and he'll have to train like a spartan.

But I think Miguel can do it. Miguel can beat Margarito and I think it could be a fight of the year.
