Default WTH did the cutman put into Marquez's eye?

OK, so i'm having a huge problem with this thing that the cutman put into marquez's eye between rounds. As those in teh round by round forum seen some of my comments.

i believe it was either the 11th or 10 th where marquez had the deep cut in his right eye, the cutman had some kind of yellow thread or some thing that he filled the cut with.

this seemed to work because his eye didnt bleed as much.

my question is WTH is that, is that even legal. it was the first time i ever seen someone do that in professional boxing. the thing stayed on for 2 rounds plus, u can even see it in the interview.

i think that should of freakin been ban or sumthing, or the boxing offcial in the red jacket didnt do his work becuase that thing completely stopped most of the bleeding, and stayed on even when pacman punches it, seemed like cheating to me......iono can some1 answer this?

A medicated yellow string or some sort. Pac's cutman did a great job.

How the fuck is it cheating? Marquez corner a professionals. They been doing this a long time. They know what's legal and what they can and can't put in Marquez's cut.

arite calm down buddy, its just that if it WAS the first time i've ever seen a cutman do that to any figher, thats y it was VERY weird to me, never seen it before in my life.

the thing is, it works so well, the blood did not spill as much as it did before, so why doesnt other fighters use that same technique?

i just find it very odd, when its a fight it shouldnt be used plain and simple

It's all good. Nothing wrong with questions. I just didn't like the cheating reference.

The cut thing probably helped Pacman, the cut was deemed an accidental headbutt, what if it had gone to the cards after round 8?
Both corners dealt with the cuts well, it helped make for a great fight.

i think its called "packing" its a medical grade gauze to temporarily stop the bleeding and absorb blood. think of it as a mini tampon.

Are you implying that Marquez's eyelid looked like a bleeding vagina?

Must have been his time of the month. Well, he may not have won the fight, but at least he knows he isn't pregnant.
