I admit in the past three fights he's been total shit but he's still got the wins, watch the Jonathan Reid fight, Smith will come good soon enough.

His last 3 fight were shit cuz he is shit. What does beating Reid prove? Everybody has been beating Reid lately. He went into the Smith fight having lost 3 out of his last 4. And he's lost his next 2 fights after fighting Smith. You impressed with that? Seriously he's just a local domestic fighter. That's it. He reminds me of Peter Manfredo. Just not as good.

Smith is more than a regional fighter....he might make the step up to being a gatekeeper occasional title challenger if he improves his opposition, but I don't think Smith really has it in him to be world class.

And I agree with VD that Smith has looked out of sorts and hasn't been at his best recently.

Maybe the magic word (Contender) will help him to step up his game again.

Now's thats hating with that statement. He'd whoop Manfredo's ass. He ain't shit he got the potential to be a world champ, If he is shit then why did Buddy McGirt sign him up ?? and why did Pepe Correra say "If you don't become a world champion Paul, I'll kiss your backside".

I ain't impressed with Jonathan Reid but look how he performed in that fight is what I'm saying, there's more to come from Paul Smith and I guarantee he will come good. He's got much more ability than a domestic fighter, he just has to prove it.

Where's the potential at? When has he shown it? What fight? He's struggling against bums in his last fights. And you think he's a title threat? Come on now. Be realistic. There's a diffrence between liking a fighter and wanting him to do good. And liking a fighter and building him up for more than he is.
