It'll be interesting to watch Malignaggi aswell for me, I haven't seen him fight before but from the youtube clips I've seen from him he looks like a good opponent and could give Hatton a run for his money.
It is touted as their next match up, why else would Paulie come to the UK to fight? It'll be a good fight for Hatton and one i believe he can win. Mallignaggi is a good operator but lacks power hence his low KO% and i feel Hatton will be too strong like Cotto proved to be.
I'm still not entirely sure if we'll be getting the PPV in or whether I'll be at work....as usual. I can't seem to do anything except work at the moment, I'd love to watch it though....good bill, and looking forward to seeing Jamie Moore back in action again.
His ambitions on higher stages have been really hampered, so hopefully they get a decent opponent in for him, for an exciting fight and make this a top quality bill.
was really impressed with what i had seen from paulie malignaggi before manchester (his speed especially), who knows maybe his poor performance was down to the hair!!!
yeah to be honest i'd never seen any of his full fights (unless i cant remember) so i was probably being blinded by just seeing highlight packages. He's had a lot of trouble with that left hand too hasn't he?
Yeah he's claimed its been damaged a lot.
I think Malignaggi could be one of those fighters that fights to the level of the opponent. This would best explain his brave performance against Cotto, and struggling later against N'Dou.
His speed of hand and foot are excellent though.
