so whose going to be the star of boxing after mayweather retires

Guys like Cotto, Hatton Pacquiao still have years left in them so they will just step up in popularity or should I say they will recieve the extra press...

Cotto IMO is going to be the biggest name in the sport after DLH/PBF etc leave....He will be the next Trinidad popularity wise....

Vanes Martirosyan. I like his fighting style. I don't know about him taking the top spot in the future. But I have strong feeling he'll make it in the top 10.

IF and thats a big IF Cotto gets past MArgarito, it will be him, regardless of whether he fights Mayrunner or DLH. Now if Margarito wins, he would have to pretty much unify his and the top and bottom surronding weight classes to even come close to that kind of popularity. The guy just doesnt get love.

cotto is good and yes hes going to be the next trinidad, but trinidad is cooler...lol

If he has the chin as a pro its pretty simply IMO, Rau'Shee Warren. THis guy is as fast as anyone, he has excellent skills, and a really good power. BUt unlike guys like Gamboa who is a good athlete, he also has great technical skill


To note he almost beat Guillermo Rigondeaux who is considered the best amateur fighter in the past 10 years probably if not ever.

Not who's going to be the next PBF. PBF is not the biggest name in boxing.

Anyway, I think the next one to reach super stardom will be Cotto.

I was going popularity wise though not longevity
