It has been a few years I have been here and for about 99.9% it has all been enjoyable...Some of the most knowledgeable fellows on the net...Make that most knowledgeable boxing fans PERIOD....

Lately though this place has gone to shit and to be honest I don't enjoy posting here anymore...Pretty much fed up with all the stupid ass baby shit heads like the ones in the Jin Mosley thread, Racist arguments, who is who isn't etc...all the you called me this you did that,,,etc....

It is understandable on occasion we all get worked up and into heated debates and like I have said before they are some of the best reason to post....Getting gritty with fellow sports fans about your favorite guys.

When shit starts getting stupid and there is more nonsense that doesn't even pertain to the sport and it just seems to never stop lately, EG- When threads have to be moved off the main board by a MOD because it is........ "Embarrassing the site"......What does that say about the state of things?....BTW those were the words of the MOD who moved the thread not mine.

I made a thread about a week or two ago about WTF has gotten into people lately...I thought it would just be a passing moment on the boards where everyone was a little stir crazy and all would be normal again but it hasn't so. Enough of it all for me....

Of course there is more then less top notch guys here and no one is to take it personally....Though there are the few here and they know who they are because all they seem to do is spend their time causing drama then talk boxing....So from here on out I will stick to the front page...

shame to see a great poster feeling like he doesnt want to be on here anymore for various reasons.

I can honestly say i doubt you`ll find many better boxing forums on the net that have as many established memers as this site does.

Its well modded, has a nice layout and is full of knowlegable fight fans who just wanna talk boxing with people the world over.

I got into my first petty squabble today and i feel bad for it. But these arguments happen on every forum over every subject.

Look past the bullshit and you`ll eventually find something you`d like to talk about...

Hope you manage to change your mind and come back daxx as for the short time ive been on here youve been nothing but a laugh and had me pissing myself with laughter during the De la hoya-forbes RBR!

I know my words don't carry 0.1% of the weight that Daxx's do, but I'm starting to feel the same way he does. This used to be a great site with many knowledgeable posters, it was so good that I lurked here for at least a year before posting because I enjoyed reading the opinions of the posters on here while I learned about boxing. However, over the last year or so it has descended rapidly. Now it's really not all that different from all the generic, fan-boy filled boxing forums populated by juvenile idiots who hurl childish and racist remarks at one another. I used to love coming on here during, or after, a big fight to discuss and dissect what we had just seen, but now I almost dread coming on here in the days following a fight. There are still many, many quality posters here, Daxx names many of them, but they have been overshadowed by other, less quality (to be generous) posters.
I can be as guilty as any in heatedly arguing a position (I'd like to take this opportunity to apologize to TM for acting like a complete douche in our argument a few months back), but, like Daxx says, it's getting out of hand these days. It's one thing to argue, but it's another thing entirely to have no respect for the person you are arguing with and the perspective they bring. This site used to be completely different from all the other boxing forums around and I don't know what happened to it, and I know that the loss of Daxx and posters like him is only going to further degrade the quality of this once fine forum. Like I said, I know I won't be missed even a fraction as much as Daxx will be, but I don't know if I'll be able to keep coming here either if things don't change.

Riddiculous that someone feels they have to leave the hands down best boxing site on the planet. Especially when in comparison there are no options out there after this place. For daxx to say he 's ready to leave over all the myspace, facebook, you tube type stuff here is really sad. Boxing is the topic of this place of which race, religion, your favorite color etc..has nothing to do with. I admit i never saw the level of craziness as described till i went looking around harder at some of the threads. I hope and belive daxx will be back but if not i see his point and he will be missed around here since he is one of the great posters here.

Well Daxx, to be honest I just see this as you taking a little break from the Boxing Talk section.
Believe you me, I know exactly what your refferring to and I see this more since I have to be Modding posts...

We talk sooo much shit about other sites that are shit but every now and then we look like them in some of our posts.

I see it like this, those shitty posters might be here and they might not have done anything "ban" worthy yet but eventually one day they will.
Shitty posters who do stuff like that aren't around for too long.

Just take a break and work on some articles. By the way I printed out the article on nicknames and kept copies of it.
