Punch Power: 713 | | What should Arce do now? +88 I'm still waiting on the download, seems like most articles/people think he was lucky to get a win against Lookmahanook.
Either way he clearly hasn't looked good lately, just look at the Rojas fight.
This last win earned him a supposed shot against Mijares. That's just not smart, he'll most likely get stopped this time.
They should find one last big money fight for him, maybe Darchinyan if they could manage that?
Anyway did anybody see the fight? I've got the download like 95 percent finished but its taking forever. |

Punch Power: 0 | | Re: What should Arce do now? +107 I don't know man. Some say it was a disputable win for Arce. I'd really like to get a hold of this fight video and score it myself. It sounds really intriguing.
The ring officials scores:
Judge: Benjamin Rendon 114-114
Judge: Lou Filippo 115-113
Judge: Dej Sri-Ampai 115-114
But the commentators sees it...

Punch Power: 713 | | Re: What should Arce do now? There's no point in Arce-Mijares 2, I mean unless Arce somehow lands the Hail Mary of all Hail Mary punches then we know what will happen and like I said before honestly this time I think he gets stopped.
Darchinyan probably makes the most sense. I'll have to watch this one to see how I think he'd do in that. I think Arce at one time would have beaten Vic, from the Rojas fight though I'm thinking Arce's more past it than Vic. |

Punch Power: 677 | | Re: What should Arce do now? +147 I'm with OumaFan I think Darchinyan/ Arce should still be made. I think that fight can still pack loads of entertainment!
Also wouldn't mind seeing Munoz mix it up with Arce, could be fun!

Punch Power: 101 | | Re: What should Arce do now? He hasnt been really immpressive to me since beating Ler, who was no world beater. Arce is a tough fighter but not in Mijares league. At this weight I dont see him having too many more sucessful fights and I think Mijares beats him again easily.

Mijares might not able to stop Arce in a rematch but I think the result will be worst (for Arce) than the first fight...
Munoz tried to land Hail Mary punches on Mijares all night long but unfortunately not one landed cleanly... Could Arce do it? I doubt it... Mijares-Arce rematch is no good at all...

Punch Power: 248 | | Re: What should Arce do now? I never really got into Arce, the only fights I've seen before he fought Mijares were against Ler, and way back against Michael Carbajal. He clearly wasn't the same fighter to me, I think he's probably been past it for some years now. Imo he was being really overrated by some people before he fought Mijares as well, I just don't think he's that good. Hate to be negative but I don't really care too much what he does now, there's a ton of guys around his weight who are quite clearly better. From his standpoint though, a matchup against Darchinyan makes the most sense as it still carries interest among many fans, and Vic is quite beatable when you have power. Mijares will just outclass him again even worse, whether he has faded more since the fight or not.

Punch Power: 1323 | | Re: What should Arce do now? IMO the best arce can do to mijares is knock him down and thats if arce gets lucky enough to land. After the knocked down though, mijares will just continue to school him.
Mijares owns Arces seriously. Theres a lot better fights to be made in the division, arce imo has never been that good.

Punch Power: 2097 | | Re: What should Arce do now? +121 I've always said Arce should fight Silence Mabuza. I think it would make for a damn! exciting fight and he would win in a fashion which would appeal to the fans the most.
Aside from that I think a Vic fight would make the most $en$e....
That and a Izzy fight but come on....

Punch Power: 713 | | Re: What should Arce do now? OK I finally saw it, I didn't have it 117-110 but I thought the Thai guy won. Either way Arce did not look very good, especially late in the fight.
Vic beats him now IMO. And Mick I don't see him beating Mabuza. Just my opinion. | |
