Thread: Does anyone know if these two are related?

I was glancing at boxrec this morning ( I just like to look at guys records, see who has common opponents, what round seems to be the one they get the most stoppages etc.) and when looking at Nonito Doniare

I noticed he fought a guy named Oscar Andrade

He is out of Mexico and only a couple of years older then the Super Middleweight with the Iron Jaw Librado Andrade.

I was wondering if anyone knows if the two are related?

Just to let anyone know I am not some idiot the thought had nothing to do with them both being from Mexico but more the fact they are close in age (And the same last name I guess) plus it is the only other fighter I have personally seen with the name Andrade.

I don't believe they are related. Although they did fight on the same card February 4th 2005

Oscar Andrade & Librado Andrade ARE NOT related.

But I'll tell you who is related to Librado Andrade.
Librado is Enrique Ornelas older brother.

I had a chance to see both of them fight in 2004 out here in Los Angeles.

Enrique Ornelas was in a FOTY candidate last year when he fought Bronco McKart for the second time. One of my fav. fights of last year.
