Gonzalez deserves a lot of credit. He completely took Niida out his game plan. He made Niida trade with him. And that's not Niida fight. Niida was game and showed a great chin. And he landed his share of punches. He just didn't have the firepower to match Gonzalez. It was a great fight while it lasted. Great win for Gonzalez.

Everyone here in Nicaragua want to see Chocolatito go up to 108 and take on Ivan Calderon. Hope this will happen sometime next year since Ramon has suggested he wants to move up due to the struggle to make the 105.

    Bienvenido a Saddo.

Great fight, Gonzalez looked like a bull in there. Niida showed a high level of skill, but here it was all about Gonzalez's power. One thing that will hurt Gonzalez going forwad is his jab it's a little slow, I think a pure boxer like Calderon count rack up some points easily off of that. Gotta say that the 3rd round was one of my favorite rounds this year at least in my top 10.
For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Its on youtube now, if you can't find a way to get there, well life is problematic.

I like the left uppercut. Apparently so does he.

He might lead with the left a bit too much but he's a little buzzsaw. Niida got a bit chippy there in the third, didn't seem to bother him, just kicked his ass.
