Default I know Boxrec isn't all that reliable.......

I know Boxrec isn't all that reliable but they have some very mouth watering fight scheduled. hopefully they go thru.

first they have Mosley vs Mayorga on October 11.
i didnt even know there were talks about this fight happening.
then they have Pacman vs Valero scheduled for November 8 for the WBC lightweight title in the US at that
and finally they have De La Hoya vs Trinidad II on December 6.

like i said i know that these are not final but just knowing that these fights might happen and that Boxrec has them already scheduled just makes me happier than knowing i won the lotto.

cant wait to see if they happen and if they do we are in for a great second half of the year for us boxing fans.

Hey Mike , i think the Mosley/Mayorga , Pacman/Valero probably could happen , but Tito/Oscar i dont think so , Oscar know that he will look much better fighing in 150-154 pnd. , not in 165 pnd. with Tito , so he is looking the winner between Cotto/Margaro...............

yeah it makes alot of sense for Oscar not to fight Tito although i think he will have the same fate fighting Tito or Junito regardless of the weight.

Much rather see Diaz-Katsadis than Mosley-Mayorga.

    What up mike,
Hope all is well with you my man.
It's always cool to catch you on here and see that your doing well.
Remeber man, when you make it back to the States you gotta come to Los Angeles man we'll go watch some fights and all.

As for the fights, I think the SSM-Mayorga fight is the only one that's officially signed the other 2 are just speculations.

Boxrec also has Haye-Maskaev for October 18th.

I have suggested this very fight on this forum before, and I still think it is a decent (and somewhat intriguing) match up. Haye must be the favorite, but Maskaev still packs a punch and has a heavyweight chin. Not bad for a first fight at the weight.

I must have picked it up from you then, cause I too suggested Haye fight Oleg and also Golota.

I'd much rather fight Golota for my 1st (really 2nd) outing at HW than Maskaev if I were Haye. Mentally, Golota is a lot weaker and you can break his will whereas I think if you have a fully healthy and focused Maskaev he will be a lot more troublesome. The guy can soak punishment and if you gas out he will be right there, knocking at your door. If Haye is smart he should be able to pull it off, but I wouldn't be surprised if he got hammered around.

Last year sometime, Boxrec had a Riddick Bowe fight listed in my area. No opponent and no venue. I would have been all over it, but it was fake. There wasn't anyone I could even contact to confirm or deny.
