Default Haye ranked 3rd by WBO

David Haye has been ranked 3rd by the WBO and 5th by the WBC thats good considering he has only fought 1 round as a heavyweight.

Doesn't that just mean the WBO is garbage? I mean, they're essentially saying Haye's last fight as a Cruiser puts him above all but two fighters in the heavyweight division. HW is weak, I admit, but not that weak.

No worse than the 3 champions per weight WBA and the IBF.

The WBO is becoming very respectable.

The WBA is absolutly the worst.

They are intentionally starting to recognize 3 champions per division. In the Junior Bantamweight division there champion is Christian Mijares. Recently they declared him their "super" champion and then order fights for a vacant "regular" title and another fight for the vacant "interim" title.

They are getting too greedy and will eventually ruin themselves.
    Pigs get fat-Hogs get slaughtered.

I think the WBC is probably doing the best job. Although they are also incredible corrupt, at least they make an effort to have their champion be one in the same with the legitimate champion. Look at the Champions recognized by The Ring Magazine, many of them hold WBC titles.

All he has done at heavyweight is beat some heavyweight who Audley Harrisson knocked out years ago and now he is ranked 3 in the world?

    Joke!

Hmm.......calling bullshit here. How frustrating must it be to be the guy that got bumped and had to fight his way to get there. This is outrageous, why not just have Haye FIGHT a ranked guy?

Haye was the WBC and WBO champion.

I believe it's quite common for an alphabet champion to be favourably ranked once they've relinquished the title to move up in weight

although haye still needs to prove himself at hw your statement is very true. i remember holyfield when he moved up from cruiser to heavy being highly ranked too. my judgement on haye is reserved until he beats a top 10 opponent
