Just got off the phone right now, ordered some ringside seats for the next event your boy Mick will attend...

No it's not SSM vs. Mayorga as I thought the card was pretty weak for ringside seats at $350 dlls.
That's how much I payed twice when I went to Izzy vs. Rafa I & III wasn't gonna pay that much for SMM-Mayorga. Bertos on the undercard and I saw him fight on the undercard of PW-CQ I, also on the card was Karmazin...

So I passed up on this event.

Instead I got myself ringside seats Row: 2, Seats: 6 & 7 for $150 dlls. to see up close and personal the kid who people consider the future of boxing and a future P4P fighter + Another kid who people consider to be a bad ass brawler and a possible future champ + I get to see one of Argentinas very own having lost only to Margarito...

I get a chance to see 2 possible future champs...
An "interim" title match where "Maravilla" might vindicate himself finally.

Yuriorkis Gamboa, Alfredo Angulo & Sergio Martinez.

There was another card I was looking into which is this Friday at Primm Valleys in Nevada. Future stars on the card too.
Antonio De Marco & Yohnny Perez but I've already seen both before so I went with the other card.

All I have to do is pray and hope that the card stays and or get's even better.

Looks like fun. I've still never seen a live fight. I almost shelled out over $100 to see Ishe Smith - Joel Julio in Vancouver, but it didn't work out.

    CFH,
I've had te opp. to attend profesional american football games, baseball, soccer, basketball & hockey games.

But I can honestly say that there is nothing like sitting rinside for a fight. Having sat in several it's something that's undiscribable and incredible to be able to be so close to the action. For example when I was ringside for Williams vs. Quintana I, I literally felt I was working for the Quintana corner as I was right behind them and I could hear the instructions and what they were saying. You can see the punches cleaner and the sounds, along with many otheer things that the camera doesn't catch.
Not to mention you get to rub shoulders with some of your favorite fighters which is always fun when you get to shake hands and thank them personally for their efforts in the ring.

Oh, I have no doubt that it's a great experience, I just rarely have the opportunity. I live a couple of hours from Vancouver, and we just don't get a lot of fights around here. I've been prepared twice to shell out big buck to see Pac fight in Vancouver, but both times bigger fights have gotten in the way of him coming here (Marquez II and now ODH).

I've actually seen very few professional sporting events live. I saw the Canucks beat up on the Red Wings last year, which was great, and I've also seen two CFL games, which were also a lot of fun, but that's it really.

I'm trying to figure out if there's anyway I can get to Ontario to see Molitor - Caballero, but I doubt it as I'm in school and I hate flying.

Yuriokis Gamboa is still sloppy in some departments and he seriously needs to tweak up on his defense i don't like it when he decides to drop his hands to his waist and thats lead to him being floored a few times and he needs to improve on his punching technique aswell because at times he often throws wild sloppy punches which leaves him open for easy counters and he needs to do it quickly..........

And the reason i say he needs to do it quickly is because he is stepping up in competition pretty quickly and against the top fighters you can't always get away with that no matter how much talent you have.........

No doubt he is one of the best prospects at the moment he has good reflexes/power/speed but he needs to get more technical in future fights.

That's a great night of fights!

    You lucky bastard!

I'm interested in seeing Sergio Martinez, since that is who Sergio will have to fight after the Forrest rematch.

Make sure you take some pics.

If Forrest wins the rematch, do you know if it's contracted that they'll have to fight a 3rd time?
