Finally!!! The proof that Leonard won!!!
Pissed it by 15 punches. Fact.
3-Time SADDO PREDICTION COMP CHAMPION.
I was trying for ages to get the stats on this fight Fenster i don't know why it was so hard to find them considering how famous this fight is........
But i had this fight a draw because Marvin Hagler let his ego get in the way the first 4 rounds and tried to box with Leonard and thought he could beat him at his own game but he thought wrong and it cost him.
I had it even also.
I though Leonard won more close rounds than Hagler.
I had less a problem with SRL winning than I did with Guerra's scorecard.
10-2? What a joke.

All you have to do is watch Hopkins vs Calzaghe to realize compubox numbers are both inaccurate, and misleading. I always felt that Hagler definitely wasn't robbed, but in that fight in particular compubox numbers shouldn't be the only issue here because Hagler definitely landed less punches, but he landed harder ones, then again it also matters who landed the cleaner shots, meaning who landed more of the hardest shots they are capable of.
Hagler won that fight
punch stats dont mean everything marvin landed harder ones and leonard landed flashier ones but i just watched the fight on youtube i scored it 8rnds for SRL and 4 for MMH but this fights depends on which fighter you watch
Hagler did enough to win that by my hazy recollection. But that was a tough one to score and it depends on what catches your eye.
Is it fair though for Hagler to get credit for landing harder punches just because he punches harder? I mean in a different circumstance if Leonard punched as hard as he could, he would never hit as hard as Hagler, so it isn't really fair who lands harder, but who lands the hardest they are capable of landing, and cleaness of the punches they land.
Look i had Leonard winning the fight and Hagler gave away first half of the fight and i think did not do enough to win it. Leonard landing clean punches does not matter if they hurt Hagler or not they were still landing and scoring points. Pluse to me Leonard was controling the fight and made Hagler fight his fight. Leonard won the fight in the end and history shows he won the fight and that is all that matters long live Leonard. The greatest boxer i have ever seen i doubt while ever see some one like him again.

yea your right about leonard being one of the greatest of all time he truly is he was the only one out of hearns duran and hagler to beat all 3. but u gotta give it to him everybody thought marvin was gonna kick his ass and look what happened he proved everybody wrong.
