Default Calderon gets total of 43 stitches on his forehead cut

First time around, the cut (from an accidental headbutt with Hugo Cazares) required 19 stitches. Geez... I was THERE and didn't originally think it was THAT bad. But the pictures later told the story. Now plastic surgeons have reopened the cut and put an additional 24 stitches in there. Ivan cannot do even light ring work before the end of 2008.

So why do I even bring this up? I just think it's incredibly laughable that among the stupid comments made by sore loser Cazares after the fight was stopped, he said that Ivan "could have continued." What a clown. Cazares went on to insult Puerto Rican judges, fans... and said he'd never fight in Puerto Rico again.

Oh no, Hugo.... say it isn't so. You'll be sorely missed.

Hope the door didn't hit you in the ass on your way out, and at least the belts remained where they belong. Heh-heh-heh.

For every story told that divides us, I believe there are a thousand untold that unite us.

Thanks, bro. The doctors assured him he'd be ok. He had a bad cut on his eyebrow some years back, and thanks to some good surgery, it hasn't given him any more problems since.

On the plus side, noone wants to see any more Ivan-Hugo fights. Now Ivan wants to unify the titles. I'm anxious to see him fight guys his own size for a change.

Cazares wasn't going to do shit in that fight. He was just plodding around following Calderon and taking the occaisional jab to the face. He should move up 4 divisions and take on someone his own size, Calderon would beat him 10 times out 10.

LOL..... Also, aside from the plodding, he was throwing those strange punches to the side, like some wounded ostrich trying to stretch his wings. What the hell was all that about?

    Hi my friend,

I read the newspaper this morning, and that is too bad. I hope that Calderon recovers soon and get the opportunity to fight for a title unification and forget about Cazares better known as "The Looser". I got really mad with his comments. He came to Puerto Rico, was very well received, made money and after getting his ass kicked for the second time starts talk all that sh%^. It is usual to see boxers claiming to be robbed due to their frustration although clearly lost (as Cazares for the second time), but the language that Cazares used...

So Cazares take your fat ass out of Puerto Rico together with your frustration and never come back.
Puerto Rico, Small Island, Big Champions!!!
