Haye has got no credit any more as a fighter or promoter.

He tries announcing fights that werent made

Then lies that they are scared forgetting that they will hear it and respond with the truth

The truth is, he wants an easy path to what he thinks will be a quick blowout of Klitschko

This is exactly how I see it. He feels he can get to Klitchko early, and I think he has a chance, but he should shut up and fight to earn his shot. This guy is a good opponent for him IMO, he has the size of a genuine heavyweight, but perhaps he's to much of an unknown risk for Haye.

That was all a bit iffy to me.

He's never seen Haye fight. It's not about the money - my promoter didn't ask for much

He was giving up the "lion's share of the purse" by going to England.. err isn't that ass backwards? More like he expected the lions share for going to England, especially against a guy he knows eff all about.

I still find it funny that haye can wake up one morning say he's a heavyweight and think he can scoot past the whole division and just fight for the belt....i like haye but i pay him about the same amount of attention that klitchko does.....

    Uhh...

In case you forgot, he was the undisputed Cruiserweight champ and history dictates that the standing champ CAN go up in weight to fight another champ in his NEXT fight. I agree that Haye is looking for a soft touch before the big Klit, but no one can say he has to stick around the HW division and wait. Roy Jones didn't wait... Holyfield didn't wait...
If what you are saying is true, then Pacquiao should have earned his way to the WBC title, and Marquez should have earned his way in the LW's before facing Casamayor. See how your rules change so quickly!?!?!?

People like you make me laugh mate.

    Calzaghe v Hopkins
    Hopkins v Tarver
    Cotto v Quintana
    Mayweather v Hatton
    Hatton V Collazo
    Taylor V Lacy
    Mayweather v Dela Hoya
    Pacman v Diaz
    Marquez v Cassamayor

I could go on for donkeys years, now all these fights were guys moving up in there first fight either fighting for a World Title or against the top ranked guy, did you have a problem with any of these match ups?

Just to nitpick, Holyfield did wait, took 6 fights at heavy before getting his shot, and he was truly undisputed at cruiser.

You make a good point, I'm just against the way he's going about it. I just have this feeling if he does manage to fight and beat klitchko he'll be an inactive champ and retire soon after, he is already promoting and has mentioned he'd like to try MMA. Can't think how a guy who beats one guy who's style happens to suit him then dissapear claiming to be champ can help the division.

Thats pretty funny.10 % of me though suspects some "talking it up" ??
I think Johnsons all around speed and solid boxing could give Haye some big problems.

Whew, for a minute I thought I saw Flores as possible opponent. If not Johnson,Maybe J.D Chapman?Guess Tye fields was busy??

Haye bugs me but not as much as his trainer Adam Booth

He thinks he is some kind of boxing svengali, a proffesor, the way he annalises fights.

He went on how it was their master plan to make out they couldnt make cruiser when Haye could, easily to lure Macaranelli in to fighting a weak Haye, all that happened is Haye landed first.

He then went on about how Hopkins would beat Calzaghe because all Enzos fighters look at their feet but he got it completely wrong, to the point Joe made Hopkins bitch, crawling round on the floor crying to the ref, no one has done that before and Pavlik wont either.

He has already been bad for Hayes career, putting him in with a very shopworn Thompson, thinking theyd get an easy win over an old name, hes now doing it again, making him face quality big men, who take power like Davids every fight, that is if they have the balls to put him in with any quality.

Booth wants to be able to say, "look how I made this cruiser in to a cruiser champ, then went up and beat the top boy at heavy"

Warren wouldnt have such delusions of grandeur, hed realise Hayes limitations and advise him to stay where he is comfortable for a proper unification and some money making defences against names, even a Hopkins or Tarver, (you know Warren would try that one)

Then and only then would Warren negotiate with a heavy belt holder for a direct challenge whithout the fear of losing on his way their.

The way Booth is handling David is a joke, hes having him do big press confernces for fights that havent been signed and making him look a fool, if Booth was any good hed have done something similar to what I said Warren would do.
