    Default Signs Of Boxing Geekdom

You only have 3 non boxing sports movies on tape or dvd
But you have all 6 Rockies on DVD,On The Waterfront on tape,Billion Dollar Baby on DVD,etc
You can remember the name of the Looney Tunes that had Bugs Bunny as a boxer (rabbit punch)
Your plans for this Friday are to transfer your fight tapes over to DVD

You wake from a nights rest and all four walls are covered in boxing posters.

I think if you have a over a thousand posts on a boxing board you are a geek.

I still have to listen to some fights through the phone! Or stay up all night to watch some crazy ass fight on Sopcast from a far away place.

    All good shit.

I do that kind of, I have been taking notes in a little notebook and have been doing so since March of this year, pretty much every fight I watch I do that, keep a round by round kind of in the thing so even if I don't remember someone like uh lets say Mark Davis Jr. I can go back and see pretty much exactly what type of fighter he is. As it stands right now I have probably 750 7x5 page covering 8 notebooks. Every fight has a date, andd who was fighting. The later ones have pretty much all the info I need from judges names to the venue to the division, weights and what channel it was on. I can usually get 4 rounds per page it averages out to that anyways. Some more some less, if I'm seeing a fighter for the first time usually more or if there is a lot of action usally less because I'm busy watching and not doing an actual blow by blow just jotting down notes. I've always noticed that you seem to know fighters that other might have gotten off the top of your head, maybe this is why. I hope it proves that for me. I think I heard once that if you hear something, you have a 10% chance of remembering, if you write it down you have a bigger chance at it and you are almost guaranteed to remember if you teach someone else. In the time that I've been doing this I think that has held true for the most part.

One day I want to go back and keep notes of past fights but that is a while down the road.

HOw bout this one, you recognize and have seen fight at least 3 of the names n Kid Thunders record
