Thread: The "New Muhammad Ali book!!!!!!!!!!"

Hi their boxing chums!I've just read that a New book about "The Greatest"is due out soon(23 October,in the U.K).The title of the book is called,"The Treasures of Muhammad Ali",its by Gavin Newsham!!!.The book will contain never before published items of rare memorabilia from Ali's personal archive,including personal letters,official documents,fight tickets and posters.
Ali even writes a foreword to the book,which charts his rise to the top and how he became the most recognised man on the planet.There's a stunning 200 photographsand there will be 25 items of Ali's own documents as well as early fight contracts,famous fight programmes and posters!!!

It'll cost £30(60$)

I cant wait to read this!!!!!!!IT'LL BE THE BEST READ EVER SINCE ALONG TIME BY THE SOUNDS OF IT!!!

I cant wait to get me hands on this!!!!!!!

I am a massive Ali fan but I hope this new book is warts an all.


Most Ali books dont mention Ali's dark side such as his womanising,hipocritical stance on lots of subjects and his blind following of Elija Mohammad.


A great Ali book in my opinion is "Ghosts of Manila".

The thing I like about it is that it is quiet critical of Ali and talks about subjects that other Ali books have avoided such as his child that was born outside marage.

I think I will dig it out and read it again now you mention it.If you get a copy let me know what you think?

I'll check it out if i can get hold of it mate!!!If your a fan of Calzaghe and you have'nt alread read his autobiography"No Ordinary Joe"then i would recoomend you to read it.I bought it when it first came out a few months ago and i was hooked from the first page!!!
