I have been to one fight, Trinidad Vs Reid over 8 years ago, being in the third row I thought I had a chance to catch Reids cranium late in the fight.
I've been to two pro fights.I went to watch my local boxer Micheal Hunter defend this British and European titles, then again to watch him fight for the IBF title to against the hard slick "Canadian Kid"Steve Molitor. Both fights where at the great local venue "The Bourough Hall" in Hartlepool.A fantasic venue!!!I've been a few amatuer fights mainly.I wanted to see Hatton and Calzaghe a few years ago when their were both up in Newcastle but i could'nt go because i was at work.
No more fights for me thanks,I spend entirely too much of my day clearing out my nostrils so I can breathe as is

The only live fights i get to see is Amateur fights but im planning to go to a big fight one day, just haven't got much money at the moment have to save my pennies.
I've been to 13 fights live not including the SF Golden Gloves which I used to go to every year.
hatton-urango is the only one.
I have lived in remote spots in Missouri and Utah.... not real boxing hot spots.

yeah I go to St. Joe sometimes. If it is the same one you are talking about. It is about 30 minutes north of Kansas City. I am a little over 2 hours from Kansas City and the same for St. Louis.

well thats the thing....I am not going to drive over 2 hours for thos kindof fights. They had a Spinx card in STL not too long ago. My dad had never been to a live fight and I was like......I wouldn't go. The odds were like
-1,0000 to +something. But hell I think Spinks lost. Either way, going to a Spinks fight as your first fight is not something I recommend.

Spinks-Phillips? Wasn't a bad card actually, but I like Spinks so that may explain why. Devon Alexander was on the undercard too.
Well as a Spinx fan I guess. but I mean I would drive a couple hours for a Winky fight, hell I flew to see Hatton fight, but Spinx..........
Tua was in Utah the summer I was there. But he was on the far end of the state. He was also fighting a Pride of Boston-type figure.
