Thread: + Orzubek Nazarov vs. Artur Grigorian +

Was thinking how the fight would have gone would they have met in a ring.

Been watching some of their fights and they just missed eachother by a year or so... Nazarov was winding down while Artur had just gotten started.

I remember reading a lot of good things about Nazarov on paper but then once I saw him on film I just wasn't impressed. I mean the man could move well and all but there was nothing there as it had been put on paper.

Artur on the other hand I don't remember reading much on him and then once I saw him on film. I was wow! can this man punch, he sparked out Rivera for the title in a fight where Rivera was just broken down by Artur.
Arturs 5 round assault on Clark was thrilling an edge of your seat fight.

So we've got the boxer vs. puncher matchup.
Thoughts on this fight...

I woulda backed Nazarov. I get what youir saying about Grigorrian looking more impressive but I just feel Orzubek was a better all round fighter. Nothing special but very solid!

Have not seen much on Grigorian but a few on Gussie.Personally I think Nazarov/Mosley at light .....Nazarov/Johnston...Mosley/Johnston would have been worthy match-ups.Southpaw power though a bit repetetive.Mosley went past some capable lightweight's on his way to the big show, but....it worked ?

Sorry buddy not familiar with Grigorian. Nazarov was fun to watch very solid, doesn't help without the compaison though.
