Default Who is (or was) your favorite "stalk, stun and close" type of guy?

Mine currently is Margo becuse he can walk through punches and still do the stalk as he gets stronger and stronger. My past favorites were Sugar Ray Leonard and K. Galaxy One they had you hurt, it was like being in the Serengeti National Park; the kill was coming.

Hopkins in his prime, would find you no matter where you were in the ring.
Kirkland against Vera, the best thing he did all night other then hit hard, was cut down the ring,no matter where Vera tried to run to,Kirkland was waiting for him when he got there

Another good stalker was Holmes,he'd just follow that relentless jab of his,and you,all over the ring.
His fights might not have been exciting but you have to admit they were efficient

Mike Tyson. When he caught up to you there was nowhere he wouldn't hurt if he laid a glove on it.

I dont see Tyson that way,I see him as a swarmer, he was like a wave crashing over your head, but he wasnt a hunter tracking you down.

I guess I'm thinking of what he did against Holmes. That was stalking because Holmes did find a home with his jab before Mike chopped his legs off.

That was more the exception then the rule, against an older but clearly spent Holmes,he was smart enough to pick his spots, but normally he just rolled right over you

Yes, he was relentless as hell and once he had you hurt, he was on you like a wolf on a lamb.

Leonard was the ultimate closer and when he did his kill, he no longer had a baby face. He was stone cold ruthless in there. He was my all-time favorite.

I remember him taking out our own Dave Boy Green with as clinical a ko combo as Ive ever seen, after he had softened him up..
